Irazu Gómez

Irazu's style has its roots in Iyengar and centered yoga systems in which each aspect of the practice is an opportunity to investigate the body, the brain, and the mind and enter a region of profound inner vision, which permits the body of light to shine from within toward the external world. Her experience includes teaching yoga to women in prison and running yoga sessions for young people in a youth custody center. She also has experience of teaching yoga to people with mental health and addiction problems in a specialized rehabilitation center in Mexico.

Ana Prados

Since 1999, when Ana came into contact with veganism, she made a personal decision to adopt that philosophy of life. This is a philosophy that renounces food of animal origin, in search of a personal ethic in harmony with the environment without sacrificing the pleasure of tasting flavors, textures, and aromas. She later set up her own restaurant and was completely self-taught researching and creating her own culinary style.

Jose Antonio

From a young age, Jose was interested in mysticism and he practiced in different Western schools looking for something that would give him inner harmony that he was seeking. He practiced mind control and meditation for many years. Jose dedicated himself to reconcile nutrition with people's spiritual side because one can hardly balance his or her energy if the physical body is not properly harmonized. As a health advisor, he is also dedicated entirely to provide students the necessary path for the body to function properly according to their biological heritage.

"Spanish Yoga Retreat"

A guided space in which to explore yourself through yoga and meditation working at your own pace. Pick up at the airport - meals - transport return so all you had to do was was unpack/pack your bag and you were set up for the week. Framework to each day that was flexible. Yoga meditation morning and evening with cooking in between (optional). Informative with handouts. Technical information with hands-on instruction during the yoga which I found very useful as I'm a complete beginner. Experienced teacher- multilingual, able to accommodate different abilities, and learning styles. Delicious food, beautifully presented. Ambience of inclusive community. It is a retreat - 10 minutes to the nearest town! Serene location in the mountains with views of the sea- idyllic! Worth a try - worth going back!! Thank you, to all, for your fellowship.

"inspiration"

From the retreat with Jose and Ana I take a lot of inspiration with me. They both do their best to create a home for each participant for the time of their stay, you have everything you need and can wish for. The surroundings in the mountains are the ideal place for a retreat, everything is clean and lovingly furnished and Ana's culinary skills are fantastic. You will be warmly welcomed and can fully concentrate on what you came for.

"The change I needed !"

I have had an incredibly stressful year and I felt as though I was falling apart. The 5 days I spent at The Oasis helped me recover and gave me renewed energy and calm.

I will make a habit of visiting this retreat at least twice a year from now on!

"Absolutely incredible experience"

Everything was amazing. The accommodation was beautiful and in an absolutely gorgeous location. The food, lovingly prepared by Ana, was exquisite. So much flavour and so satisfying! And the yoga and meditation teacher, Claudia, was just incredible. Her classes were perfect, I feel like I have learned so much and became more flexible and more relaxed, and so much more in tune with the world and myself, each day that went by. Claudia was so friendly, and patient, a truly wonderful human being. And José Antonio was very welcoming and open, I felt very much at home here. I will definitely go back in the future!

"Time away to relax and unwind "

Our hosts were lovely, really friendly and knowledgeable, the food was delicious and the yoga was inspiring, calming, energising and relaxing, overall a very worthwhile trip away to take time out. Would highly recommend and will definitely go again:)
