You will be staying in Ostuni, Apulia, Italy.

Apulia is known as the heel of Italy, embraced both by the Adriatic and the Ionian Sea. Sometimes you might hear people calling it "Le Puglie" because in its stretch shape, up from north down to the deepest south, you encounter the many souls and different characteristics, both in the dialect, culture, and temper.

Apulia is one of the most underrated Italian region, pleasant to visit all year long, well-nearby to other Italian Central and Southern landmarks with plenty of little jewel-towns that surprise the visitors.

The region is so varied going from stunning pristine beaches to ancient town perched on the hills surrounded by a dominant nature, unique towns as Locorotondo and Alberobello, in the Valley of the Trulli, or charming seaside towns as Polignano a Mare and Monopoli.

For those willing to travel back to ancient or genuine times, this region offers many chances. From the visits to the towns to wandering around the narrow streets and feel a close touch to culture, seeing grandmas cooking handmade pasta for the family. Life is spent outside, no matter the weather, as proof of its rural past where the inhabitants were one big family.

Why set in Ostuni? Ostuni is poetical, the whitest town in the world, it shines from far away as a lighthouse to indicate that you have to stop here, and it is worth it. It extends across three hills and has much of the fairytale atmosphere. Right giving the back to the Trulli region, and opening its doors to the Salento, the deepest hot south. Strategically perfect for holidays in Apulia, it allows reaching the other top things to see in the region in a short time.

Surrounded by an imposing nature and agricultural heritage, it is one of the best places to try some regional masterpieces. Overlooking century-old olive trees, here you can get delighted by delicious samples of excellent olive oil directly from the producer. The wine is innovative and Apulia is one of the largest wine producers in Europe, so don't forget to sip a good Primitivo Rosato, for example.

Foodies have no worries in finding the best regional food as any restaurant offer amazing dishes made with fresh and seasonal ingredients. People take pleasure in handmade pasta, and the typical shape, the orecchiette, has its unique taste and secrets in the making. You can't leave the region without eating Orecchiette with green turnips.

Manifesto of this vacation is hello freshness, regional, excellent and tasty food. Olive oil, natural wine, handmade pasta, and organic ingredients, is the rule, the tradition. This food and culture vacation includes a welcome drink to start on the right foot, a welcome dinner to get to know the local cuisine, and other possible travelers if you like. A walking tour with open-air olive oil tasting at the medieval veggie gardens in Ostuni, with fantastic views over the surroundings.

Discover the ABC of cheese, check the process of cheese making and taste the “from the farm to the table” fresh products. Have a light lunch on a scenic countryside typical Masseria sampling the cheesy delights. You will also try the Valley of the Trulli specialties in a nice lunch in Locorotondo.

Then, as your last goodbye, you will have a farewell dinner in a very typical restaurant in Bari, the other producer of regional masterpieces.
