Booked this restaurant after reading about it on Eater San Diego, the welcome we received from the owners Chris and Mary was fantastic. Mary is a very calm and unassuming person who makes you feel completely at ease and because we had travelled from Ireland gave us two complimentary drinks to begin with. Food was full of flavours and wine was expertly matched. It was a Thursday night so it was the three course menu , I started with the ravioli, then had the tuna and finishes with the panna cotta. Evening went so well and there was a very pleasant atmosphere. Chef Gregory came out to speak to us and he was a very affable guy wiling to answer all questions. Chris talked about his wine interest and produced two complimentary pear cognacs, a fantastic evening. An absolutely cracking spot if you like nice food and nice wine at a reasonable price.
