Budapest is the jewel of the Danube, full of UNESCO-listed monuments, architectural wonders, and vivid nightlife. You can enjoy a splendid panorama of the Danube with the Chain Bridge and the Pest side of the city from the Buda Castle. The Parliament is the gem of the Pest side of the Danube, the largest building in Hungary.

The country is located over a very active geothermic area and has over a thousand thermal water springs. There are some amazing thermal baths in Budapest as well. Budapest is also a culinary heaven with its food markets, small local “Csárda”, fine dining, and Michelin star restaurants, as well as several wine bars.

Tokaj

The Tokaj wine region is Hungary’s world-famous wine region. The historic landscape was declared a World Heritage Site in 2002. Tokaj is the prestige brand of Hungary, unique and excellent. The region gained its reputation as the producer of the "Wine of Kings” and the "King of Wines". Tokaji Aszú wine has been made for 450 years.

Tokaji Aszú is the world’s greatest natural sweet wine, a medicine and a gift of nature. Furmint is the dominant local grape variety of Tokaj. Due to its unique characteristics, it is the perfect base for both dry and sweet Tokaj wines. Since Tokaj is a closed wine region, the law determines the grape varieties that can be grown here, like Hárslevelű, Kövérszőlő, Zéta, or Sárgamuskotály.

Walk around the lovely vineyards, learn about vintages and the diversity of the volcanic soils, meet the winemakers, and explore the hundred years old cellars. Taste the finest dry single vineyards Furmints, and search for apricot, lime or quince flavors in the late harvest, dry fruits, and honey in the nectar-like aszú wines.
