"We got picked up from the hotel. Our guide, Tanh Binh, was wonderful and courteous in showing us the different places and explained in details that which required thus making the tour very interesting. We had quite a bit of rain, heavy at times. Binh still patiently guided us. This tour required a lot of walking. Must be fit to enjoy it all. "

"My driver Thomas was on time for pick up and even a little early. I scheduled a private car from Hoi An to Phong Nha(very long distance) with a stop in Hue. He was very friendly and helpful. We stopped at 3 different places in Hue and he gave me time to look around for myself. I specifically asked for no tours. We even stopped for lunch at a local spot in Hue. We finally reached Phong Nha not too late. I would highly recommend this service to anyone else visiting Vietnam. "

"Very pleasant trip from Hoi An to Hue with Johnny as our driver! Car was very comfortable with complimentary water and wifi. As we drove, Johnny gave us some cultural insights to our surroundings. He kindly allowed us to stop and take pictures on the mountain up to Hai Van Pass as well as at the top (beautiful views and American bunkers). We also stopped by an oyster and pearl farming village at a rest stop where Johnny recommended us to wait for 20 minutes to take a picture closer to sunset. While waiting, we were greeted by local people and enjoyed a coffee with the lake view. Overall, great experience and we would highly recommend to those with a bit of time (overall journey was about 4 hours). "

"Just concluding our private lot driven trip from Hoi An to Hue with Mr Bao. En route, we stopped at Marble Mountain, a stone carving mountain village, Lang Co beach, Hai Van pass and a US bunker! We had a delicious lunch on Mr Bao's advice, were given water, free Wi-Fi, and a comfortable ride in a lovely vehicle with air conditioning. Mr Bao had my door for me every time we exited and entered the car - very gentlemanly! A great way to get from A-B, highly recommend!"

"We arranged for VM Travel to meet us at the airport, transfer us to our hotel and provide a full day city tour and the La Chu countryside by bicycle. This was a fantastic day although possible overly ambitious for travelers in their mid sixties in 35 degrees Celcius temperature and covering close on 30 kilometers. Nevertheless, it was great and included a cooking class and foot massage. Driver, Mr. Trung, and guide, Mr. Binh Tran, were excellent and very considerate with rest stops."

"Thank you VM Travel for the valuable recommendation to book the Hue day tour and additionally the "Hue - Hoi An tour" instead of a simple transfer. Anytime we felt safe with our sensitive drivers. Thank you also to Hue tour Guide Hong for detailed explanations and perfect timing. The day tour was announced up to 20 persons but we were only 6 in the tour what was perfect. I absolutely can recommend VM travel. We did all bookings one day in advance and everything worked well. Perfect! "

"We booked directly with this company when we arrived in Hue. We were a group of 4 and we signed up for a group tour of the Citadel, wood bridge, 2 tombs, lunch and a garden. We ended up being the only 4 people on the tour that day and it was great. Our tour guide was Danny. We got a better rate by booking directly with the tour company."

"Great Hue city tour! We booked a small group city tour in Hue with VM travel but as we were the only persons to book for that day, it turned out to be a private tour. Lien speaks excellent English, is very funny and knowledgeable and energetic. We visited lovely sites and got a good impression of Hue in just one day. The driver was also very friendly, smiling the whole day and courteously rushed to open my door every time we got out of the car. A highly recommend tour! Also booked a transfer from our Hoi An hotel to Da Nang airport with VM travel and the driver was well on time and no problems there."

"We went on a tour with Lien and Phuc and had a lot of fun together! They were flexible to adjust the program to our preferences and brought us to places we would never have gotten to by ourselves. All costs were included, except the entrance fee for the temple. You don't have to worry about driving with the motorbike, since safety comes always first. Lien is very entertaining and authentic, and we had no problem with understanding each other, moreover, she became a friend to us and we would not want to miss that ride!"

"We booked a private car from Hue to Da Nang With VM Travel. The agents were friendly, the car was in good condition and the driver was kind. They recommended it over the bus. It was a good recommendation as we had more freedom to stop at beautiful places along the way. We visited at "Elephant Springs" and "Lang Co Beach" which were absolutely beautiful. A big thanks from Ely and family."

"What is not to love about the infectious, youthful, and dedicated enthusiasm of this group of women? They studied together, and now the young lady who started the company The Queen of Hue Lien, employs the ladies from her course to run the tours with her. Lien provides tours which cater to the needs of her clients. Ie she is constantly researching and training herself and her staff in delivering a top quality product. She is the one and only, the original Hue-by-motorbike tour guide! We started off our day (on the Hue City Motorbike Tour) being picked up by motorbike and being taken to a caf for salted coffee (delicious), then drove out of town to a number of temples, experienced a demonstration of traditional harvesting techniques, relaxed on a covered bridge with friendly locals, traversed a rice field, learned the "I love Hue" dance, had lunch at a fantastic local vegetarian restaurant, stopped off to try sugar cane juice, before being dropped off at our hotels in the afternoon. Its a fantastic, enjoyable and entertaining day. The girls were friendly, informative, and unfailingly polite. We truly loved our day out with the Hue Lady Riders!"

  • Review by traveler from Singapore

"We went on a tour with the Hue Lady riders to the various tombs around Hue - including Kai Dinh, Minh Mang and Tu Doc. Although riding in the traffic was harrowing, our lady riders, the friendly and sweet Lien and Thuy, made us feel safe and the ride was comfortable on their motorbikes. They took us to a great vegetarian lunch and we learnt a lot about Hue and their lifestyle, which was very interesting. We could take our time to explore the various tombs, especially for the larger ones like Minh Mang and Tu Duc, which was nice. They were very sensitive to our needs as well, and we enjoyed the tour very much!"

"There are only positive things to say about Lien and her team of Hue Lady Riders. We did a sightseeing tour and it was amazingly fun from start to finish. Our two teenagers also just loved the tour and the view from the scooters. The Lady Riders were all exceptionally genuinely friendly, and very lovely to spend a few hours with. You really felt that you were making friends with some very nice people. They were also excellent and safe riders. The leader, Lien is a firecracker and the perfect person to get you really excited about what Hue has to offer. Do yourself a favor and book this tour. Do not miss this! It is a safe and excellent way to see a lovely city and its surroundings."
