Day 1 - Ho Chi Minh city arrival

Arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh city, youll be met and driven to your hotel.

Youll have time to relax after your journey before a welcome dinner.

Youll spend the night in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 2 - Ho Chi Minh city

A free morning in Ho Chi Minh city to spend as you wish.

In the afternoon, your private car will arrive to take you to one of the most luxurious spas in Ho Chi Minh city for soothing massages, refreshing facials and health and rejuvenating body treatments, all with natural products.

In the evening, a glass of champagne will await you at level 23, the Saigon Sheraton Hotels signature bar. Its the current hot spot in Ho Chi Minh city offering a wide variety of exciting dining options and overlooking the entire city with breathtaking 360-degree views.

Day 3 - Ho Chi Minh city orientation

Time to explore Vietnams commercial metropolis!

Youll visit the huge Ben Thanh market, one of the liveliest areas of Ho Chi Minh city, packed with every conceivable commodity.

Youll also call in at the Jade Emperor temple. In there is one of the best Taoist temples in Vietnam, with superb effigies, remarkable carved panels of the descent to hell and somewhat incongruous terrapin and tortoise sanctuaries.

After a light lunch and super views in the Saigon bar on the top of the famous Caravelle hotel, youll tour Cholon, Vietnams Chinatown.

Youll finish your day with a visit to a lacquer workshop to see the complex processes and meticulous workmanship involved in this traditional Vietnamese craft product.

Youll spend the night in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 4 - Ho Chi Minh city, Mekong delta

At 07.30: pick up at hotel and drive along scenic countryside to Cai Be, stopping en route at Cao Dai temple.

At 10.00: on board at Cai Be princess pier in Phu An hamlet.

Upon embarkation on Cai Be princess boat, clients are welcomed with fresh cotton towels.

The tour will start with the visit of Cai Be colorful floating market, cruising among local sampans coming from all provinces of the delta full of fruits and vegetables. Your sampan will proceed to Dong Hoa Hiep island located between Vinh Long and Cai Be.

During a 40-minute cruise, you will be able to discover beautiful landscapes along the river and observe the typical Mekong delta rural life. These evergreen islands among the Mekong river still remain unknown to many people.

Visit at an ancient mandarin house dating from the 19th century where the family will welcome you with a cup a tea.

Back on board, we will lead to you to observe the activity of the biggest rice stock market.

Further, others stops will allow you to see a traditional bricks and tiles factory and how the locals are using palm leaves for houses.

Cruising 20 minutes further to Phu An hamlet passing by Cai Be beautiful church, we will have a visit at some interesting home factories to see not only how rice paste is made, but also rice cookies, coco candies, as well as longan fruits drying process.

Lunch will await you at Le Longanier, a superb Indochinese villa located in a lush tropical garden by the river, surrounded by fruit orchards.

After a short walk along a beautiful canal, the excursion will end at approximately 15:30 at Ba Bon bridge where our private transportation vehicle will take us back HCMC.

Back to hotel in HCMC at around 17:30.

Day 5 - Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang

After breakfast, youll be free until your driver arrives at your hotel to take you to the airport. Youll then connect with the flight to Nha Trang.

When you arrive, your private minibus will be waiting for you and then transfer you to your hotel, which will overlook the sea.

Youll spend the night in Nha Trang.

Day 6 - Free day in Nha Trang

Day 7 - Free day in Nha Trang

Day 8 - Nha Trang - Danang - Hoi An

In the morning, youll be free until your private car arrives to take you to the airport for a flight to Danang.

Upon arriving in Danang, youll have a brief look at the remarkable Hindu statuary in the Cham museum before leaving for Hoi an.

After lunch, youll have a guided visit to the ancient town of Hoi an.

Youll spend the night in Hoi an.

Day 9 - Hoi An rural life

After breakfast, youll ride a bicycle through the rural scenery of Hoi An to a small village located on the banks of the Tra Que lagoon, 3 kilometers northeast of the old town. Youll join local people in their daily work of planting and watering vegetables.

Youll then return to the old town to learn how to make silk lanterns at a local house. Youll also be able to view the complex process of creating Hoi An-style lanterns.

Your lunch will be prepared by the family.

Day 10 - Hoi An - Hue

In the morning, your car will arrive to drive you to Hue. On the way, youll cross the high mountain pass of Hai Van. The views from the top are excellent, you should be to see Lang Co beach and village and the lagoon far below, with Danang spread out before you to the south.

Upon arriving in Hue, your guide will take you on a tour of Hues ancient citadel, once the seat of the emperors of the powerful Nguyen dynasty that ruled Vietnam from approximately 1800 to 1945. Youll begin with a stroll around the area between the citadels massive walls and the defensive moat, now filled with lotus flowers. Youll then enter via the noon gate to wander around the Thai Hoa palace, the pavilion housing the nine urns of the Nguyen rulers, and the remains of the royal palaces and then back across the river to modern Hue and the bustling Dong Ba market.

Youll spend the night in Hue.

Day 11 - Hue - Hanoi

Your morning will be free until your car and driver arrives to take you to the airport for your noon flight to Hanoi.

When you arrive, youll be met by our guide and driven to your hotel in Hanoi downtown.

In the afternoon, youll wander around the colonial quarter in a cyclo to discover the citys architectural mixture of French colonial style, social realism (mostly public buildings designed or influenced by the USSR), pagodas and communal houses with many Chinese features, merchants residences, tube dwellings, modern buildings and vernacular houses.

Youll spend the night in Hanoi.

Day 12 - Hanoi orientation

Youll have the whole day to explore Vietnams capital city. Your guide will take you to the temple of literature, the first university in Vietnam dating back to the 11th century, and a popular attraction, Ho Chi Minhs mausoleum, his simple stilt house where he lived and worked, and the museum dedicated to his memory.

After lunch, youll call in at the serene Tran Quoc pagoda, the oldest in Hanoi, on the banks of Hanois Ho Tay (west) lake.

The center of Hanoi, including Hoan Kiem Lake, the Ngoc Son temple and the bustling old quarter, is a magnet for visitors, noisy and hectic, but definitely a must-see attraction.

The old quarter is a maze of shopping streets and restaurants with a hotchpotch of architecture with its traditional tube houses, religious buildings, artisans workshops and cottages, colonial houses and modern concrete edifices.

Day 13 - Hanoi - Halong bay

VM Travel works with its new partner, Starlight Cruise team. Cruises are floating resorts, with the things all offered in a resort. You meet with other people from different places but same tastes and interests. Cruise is the only place to live yourself. All you need is to lie down and be completely pampered. Enjoy some great shows one after the other.

08:00 pick up at your hotel in Hanoi by private car then transfer to Halong city.

Your heavenly journey across Halong bay starts around noon on Tuan Chau Island at the doorstep of Vietnams most fascinating wonder.

Day 14 - Halong bay - Hanoi

Early birds can attend a Tai Chi demonstration on the sundeck at the break of dawn.

Start the day enjoying some paradise delights with a colorful buffet breakfast. Continue exploring Halong bay sailing across its 2000 islets and visiting some of its major highlights.

Your paradise cruise will come to an end on Tuan Chau Island between 10:30 and 11:00.

Upon arrival, private car will transfer you to Hanoi.

Day 15 - Hanoi departure

After breakfast, youll be free until your driver arrives to take you to Noi Bai airport for your departure flight.

Hoi An

On your free afternoon we recommend you strolling in the town or lazing on the beach in Hoi An.

Nha Trang

Nha Trang offers a variety of activities for a short break. You can join a boat party of tourists for a fun visit to some of the islands. The beach is long, busy in front of the town but almost deserted further away. There are good diving facilities and reasonable coral and marine life, we usually direct visitors to the PADI 5-star Rainbow diving center.

There are many restaurants along the beach offering good Vietnamese and international food. A 10-minute taxi drive takes you to the Thap Ba hot spring spa, there you can wallow in mud, shower in spring water, and bathe in a large hot mineral water swimming pool set in beautiful gardens for just over 3 USD, cheap at ten times the price!

Spa treatments

On you second day in Vietnam, you are getting ready for a lifetime memory in a luxurious spa in Ho Chi Minh City for soothing massages, refreshing facials and health and rejuvenating body treatments, all with natural products. The herbal steam bath is designed to revitalize the skin and stimulate the bodys circulation and metabolism.

The treatment includes a gentle massage using hydrating lotion leaving your entire body velvety soft and revitalized.
