Superior deluxe accommodations in a luxury four-star hotel located along the banks of the Arno River are included in the price of the tour. All rooms feature a river or city view. Moderate activity level

Florence and Tuscany are situated on hilly terrain. While this is a relaxed Itinerary, participants should have the ability to stand or walk for at least two hours. While most tours will take you downhill, the ability to walk up steep hills is recommended. Since much of the area was built in the Renaissance period, some multi-level buildings do not have elevators. Disabled accessibility may be limited in this region.

Day 1: Arrival in Florence, Italy on Sunday, June 6, 2021

Short orientation at the rooftop bar at the hotel. Dinner buffet and welcome cocktail included.

Day 2: Monday - Piazzale Michelangelo

You start your day at the most beautiful viewpoint of Florence! Next, a scenic drive through the Chianti Region, with a scenic stop in the small town of Greve.

Lunch and wine tasting at a local agriturismo. After the wonderful lunch, you will venture off to yet another winery for a small group or private tour and tasting. Location to be announced. Dinner is open.

Day 3: Tuesday - Nude and Food

You embark on a unique "Nude and Food" journey, a half-day walking tour starting with a morning visit to the Accademia to see just a few of the works of Michelangelo, including David. Then it's off to discover the many food attractions of Florence including Mercato Centrale. Museum tickets and all tastings, including wine, are included. Bring your appetite!

The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore. An optional casual afternoon stroll and aperitivo in the Oltrarno District (where the Florentine locals live) is also available. Dinner is open.

Day 4: Wednesday - Siena and San Gimignano

Enjoy these two picturesque villages at your leisure during your stop. Lunch and wine tasting at a beautiful winery with an amazing view of San Gimignano. Lunch and wine tasting included. Dinner is open.

Day 5: Thursday - Val D'Orcia

You can't visit the Chianti Region without visiting its famous rival region, home of the famous Brunello di Montalcino wines! This tour will take you through the curved cypress tree-lined roads that make Tuscany famous. You will make stops in Pienza, Montalcino, and Montepulciano with lunch and a stop at a local winery. Lunch and wine tasting included. Dinner is open.

Day 6: Friday

Friday is open to explore the city, perfect for shopping or museums!This is also a perfect day for a side trip. Please contact the hotel concierge for assistance with museum reservations.

Day 7: Saturday

Private pre-dinner mini cruise on a Barchetto (Florence style gondola) down the Arno River with a licensed guide and prosecco. Farewell dinner.

Day 8

Departure on Sunday, June 13, 2021.

Weather permitting, itinerary events are guaranteed, the order of events is subject to change. Thanks to the knowledgeable drivers and small group status, unscheduled scenic stops can be added at any time.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Peretola Airport (FLR). Transfer from this airport is included. Vivace Gourmet Personal Chef Service will pick you up from the airport. Each traveler is responsible for scheduling air transportation to Florence, Italy. Airfare should be scheduled with a departure date no later than Saturday May 25, 2019 to arrive by Sunday, May 26, 2019, arriving at Peretola, Amerigo Vespucci (FLR).

To allow for ample resting time, aim for a departure time no later than 3 p.m. EST. Travelers must provide arrival times and flight numbers by May 5, 2019 to arrange airport transfer. Airport transfers are valid only from Florence area train arrivals or FLR arrival. Allow at least a two-hour layover between flight connections to allow time for the security and border patrol lines.
