Resort

With its elegant and quiet rooms, the large swimming pool area framed by the Tuscan countryside, and the restaurant serving traditional dishes accompanied by a wide selection of wines, your stay in Chianti is one step away from becoming reality. Let yourself be lulled by the silence and the scents of the Chianti hills, giving you a stay in a typical historic residence.

It is said that in medieval times, there was a monastery that was destroyed during an earthquake and which lent the foundations of the current Renaissance villa. Starting from the 16th century, the Palagina then served as a retreat for many noble Florentine families, including the Ricasoli and the Corsini.

It was Bettino Ricasoli (1809-1880), an Italian politician and skilled farmer and innovator of Tuscan viticulture, who created the recipe for the modern Chianti Classico and promoted the Consortium, precisely during the years he spent in La Palagina. It is in this historical reality in the heart of Chianti that Villa la Palagina rises.

As soon as you get up in the morning, look out the window of your room and let yourself be thrilled by the typical Tuscan landscape, characterized by vineyards and olive groves as far as the eye can see. Enjoy a glass of Chianti by the pool, extracted from those bunches of grapes that you can touch with your hands on the estate.

Find tranquility and inner well-being by losing yourself in the paths of the garden, while the sounds of nature envelop you and lend you some of their energy. Let yourself be carried away by the ideas and activities they have in store for you: you will take home many more pleasant memories.

End your day with a Tuscan menu, selected ingredients, and authentic flavors, and then indulge in a cuddle in one of the rooms of Villa La Palagina. The rooms and suites are a true refuge for the sou, furnished in a simple and refined way, they are in line with the simplicity and natural elements provided by the Tuscan style.
