Culinary Holiday in Prosecco, Italy

This culinary holiday is an opportunity to explore the Prosecco area through its great food, incredible wines and wonderful cities. You will visit a mountain dairy farm and see how the locals have made cheese in the same way for thousands of years. We will meet the winemakers and taste their special wines. You will admire the monuments and the architecture of Venice and its land. Mario, a certified sommelier and cheese taster, will accompany you during this trip every day as your personal guide.

You will be staying at Hotel Villa Marcello Marinelli or similar in a double room with private bathroom.

Venice Day Trips Cooking, Food & Wine Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

  • We will meet at 14:00 in the Venice Marco Polo Airport, where you will be picked up and transferred to your accommodation located in the Prosecco area.
  • Trip orientation followed by dinner.

Day 2: Cheese farm visit, cheese tasting, wine tasting

  • Breakfast at 08:30.
  • You leave for the Malga (mountain cheese farm), where at 10:00 you will see the cheese production followed by a cheese tasting.
  • Afterwards you continue for your light lunch at 13:00 in a typical local agriturismo.
  • At 15:00 you will be ready for your first wine tasting in a Prosecco winery.
  • After a full day you return to your accommodation to relax before dinner at 20:00.

Day 3: Excursion, ice cream making lesson

  • Breakfast at 09:00.
  • A short ride to visit the XI century castle Castel Brando and the XII century Follina Abbey.
  • You will go for your light lunch at 13:00 in a typical local restaurant.
  • At 15:00 you return to your accommodation to relax.
  • Later this afternoon you will have a private ice cream making lesson.
  • Dinner at 20:00 at the accommodation.

Day 4: Cooking class, excursion

  • Breakfast at 09:00.
  • Your cooking lesson starts mid-morning. The lesson will be followed by lunch where you will taste all the local specialties that you have learned to prepare in the kitchen.
  • After a little break, you leave at 15:30 to visit a nearby historical Vittorio Veneto city and do some shopping.
  • You will return to your accommodation at about 17:30.
  • Time to unwind before dinner at 20:00.

Day 5: Departure

  • Breakfast at 09:00.
  • Check out and take the van to the Venice Marco Polo Airport for your flight back.

  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
