Our Prosecco experience starts with a visit at the Azienda Agricola Villa Maria, located in the green hills between Valdobbiadene and Conegliano and famous for its tradition in the production of quality sparkling wines since 1775.
Lady Francesca, the owners daughter, will introduce us to the wonderful world of Prosecco through walking in the vineyard, showing us the productions steps, and finally tasting the different types of their wines. The visit will last approximately two hours.
Afterwards, you will go to Marios favorite rustic frasca, Da Ottavio. A frasca is similar to an agriturismo, but particular to this area of the Veneto as well as Friuli. The food served here is all produced by the owners themselves, including the homemade pasta, cheeses, salami, and of course the house Prosecco.
We will continue by visiting another family-run winery, the Azienda Agricola Marsuret, in which Massimo, the man of the family Marsura, will reveal the secrets involved in grape cultivation and Prosecco production.
The tasting will allow you to immerse yourself in a real family ambiance that will take you back to simpler times. All this while you discover the subtle nuances of each of their wines, expertly paired with salame or local cheese. The visit will last approximately two hours.
The next day, we will drive up the winding mountain roads to taste the fresh cheese produced directly on the farm with all its wonderful fresh air aromas. When you hear the cowbells and roosters in the fields around you and feel the cool mountain air, we're there!
Mr. Gallina will start opening a few wheels of cheese for us to taste: ricotta and smoked ricotta, and many farmer's cheeses. After the visit, we will drive through the countryside where our typical lunch awaits and you will experience authentic homemade specialties, from their Prosecco to the Moka coffee. Then, visit a Venetian villa to enjoy a unique Venice atmosphere.
