Thanks so much Laila. Your tour of the Gaspereau vineyard, the lunch at Sea level craft beer Brewery and then the Distillery Barreling Tide at Port Williams, followed by a tour of the Annapolis Cider Company on Main St. Wolfville was a great day of laughter and fun. Your willingness to share your knowledge and passion for your work will be remembered fondly. Cheers, until the next time.

Our tour guide Laila was great! I went on a bachelorette tour from Halifax. The drive was quick with lots of history and bachelorette games from our guide. Both wineries we visited were beautiful and offered 4-6 samples of wine. There were delicious snacks prepared for us and the burlesque dancing was so much fun! Highly recommend this tour.

I recommend this tour for any visitor to Halifax. Laila North gives a historically informative tour and also gives added tidbits you would not expect to be a part of. I love that she picks you up and she coordinates with the other tour operators, we connected for our walking food tour thanks to her, this made arranging 2 tours in one day much easier. thanks to Leila for a great tour.

Laila North, the very knowledgeable owner and guide, was our friendly host for the day. It was getting late in the season, so it was only my wife and I, but it seemed to make no difference to the enthusiasm and sharing of information Laila put into the day. Up front communication by email was very good (we stayed in the Clockmakers Inn at Windsor), and all was flawlessly arranged by Uncork Nova Scotia. Lunch at Grand Pre vineyard was very good, indeed. Recommended.

My husband and I wanted to do a Wolfville winery tour this fall. Last year, we took the "pink bus" winery tour and it was just ok. This time, we chose the Between the Vines tour with Uncork Nova Scotia, and it blew the pink bus out of the water! We visited three wineries, the Fox Hill Cheese House, and the Tangled Garden. Lunch at Restaurant Le Caveau at Grand Pre winery was fabulous (and included in the tour), but our favorite winery by far was Planter's Ridge. The owner gave our group a guided tour which was fascinating, and we enjoyed his wines the most. But the best part of our day was our tour guide Laila. She was fun and very knowledgeable about not only the wineries we visited, but about the whole area in general. Her stories were great, and we learned a lot about wine, and also the history of Wolfville and the surrounding area. I would highly recommend her tour!

We researched wine tours before we came to Nova Scotia. We liked the tours that were offered by Uncork Nova Scotia and all the reviews were along the lines of what we were looking for. Laila picked us up at our bed and breakfast, The Tattingstone Inn, right on time. My wife, son, and I had a nice comfortable van for the day's ride. As we drove to each stop, Laila gave us some great history lessons on the wine industry in Nova Scotia and, in particular, our next stop on the tour. Throughout the day, we stopped at three vineyards, Fox Hill Cheese House, and the Tangled Gardens. At one of the vineyards, Gran Pre, we also had a very tasty lunch. Laila was a wealth of information and always allowed the right amount of time at each stop. We never felt rushed at any time. She even managed to keep our 23-year-old son and non-wine drinker entertained. At each stop, we sampled the products and purchased several, as the wines are very good. The Tangled Gardens was fantastic and we bought several items. In fact, since coming home, we are looking at ordering more from each of the places we stopped. We did the tour on Monday, June 22, 2015. I would highly recommend taking this or any of the tours Laila has to offer. On our next visit to this part of the country, we will definitely use her services again.
