"My time in Tuscany was wonderful. Thank you so much for making my trip worthwhile. It wouldn't have been the same without you... you added that "personal touch" that made it extra special. You're so warm and welcoming - there should be more people in the world like that!"

"Your great gift is to facilitate a feeling of intimacy with the people, the land, and the history, even for total strangers. We can never forget the sights you showed us and the local folk you introduced us to; meeting the grand dame of local wine during our late evening walk on the cobblestones of an ancient hill top village, and the many other local rhythms of the area that you shared. Around every corner was another discovery. In the company of Ugo it always feels that we were the first to ever discover these riches ourselves."

"Ugo and Barbara, words can't begin to express my gratitude to you. You have given me an experience beyond anything I could have hoped for. Thank you for opening your home and heart to us. Please know that you always have a friend and a place in Virginia."

"This is my first trip to Tuscany, indeed to Italy. I always thought that Tuscany looked too neat, from the postcards, like Switzerland. I am glad to say that I enjoyed Tuscany and particularly the bush and rougher patches in the countryside, the brambles, and wild places we saw on the walks. It was nice to see and meet real people and see the relaxed way of life here."
