Visited Friday Harbor in Sept 2016 with a group of 16 friends. Tucker House in was a terrific place to stay. The manager was very hospitable. Location was a short walk to the harbor of about 100 yards. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The hallmark of the stay was the gourmet breakfast served each morning. We stayed three nights and each breakfast was unique and delicious. It was the perfect place for a big group.

Our five night stay at the Tucker House Inn was nothing short of amazing! We were graciously welcomed by Glenn, the Innkeeper, who gave us great suggestions on what to see and where to eat all over the island. We were in the Four Winds Suite and it was spacious and so comfortable. We met Susan, Glenn's wife, at breakfast the next morning and she is just as charming and accommodating. Breakfasts were unique and delicious. The homemade yogurt is to die for -- especially for someone who usually eats fat free at home. Fresh cookies are delivered to your room each day and the jury is still out on which ones were my favorite. We took full advantage of the several shaded and comfortable places to sit outside and read/nap when we weren't driving around the island. There is a full kitchen open 24 hours stocked with coffee, tea, and amazing lavender hot chocolate. A beautiful 6 mile run starts right out the front door. The location is perfect, the rooms are wonderful, the food is fabulous but Glenn and Susan change the Tucker Inn from a place to stay to a vacation experience. I can't recommend it highly enough!
Having relied upon trip advisor for years of vacations and restaurants I was once again overwhelmed by the quality of a highly rated bed and breakfast. From the moment we were greeted by Susan until our final farewell the accommodation, breakfast and friendliness of the staff were perfect. The grounds are immaculate, the wonderful personality and local knowledge of the area provided by Susan were over-the-top and the accommodation was superb. We stayed in the Friday Harbor suite and highly recommend it to other travels, its well worth the extra money. The prepared breakfasts, delivered to our room and homemade cookies were exceptional as were the kayaking, whale watching and restaurant suggestions by Susan. The sister restaurant, Coho, was the best meal we had on the island without a doubt. This was one of our finest bed and breakfast experiences and we highly recommend it.

We arrived in the late afternoon and were greeted quickly and politely. We were in the orcas suite which was absolutely beautiful. The bed was so comfortable I collapsed in it instantly. There was an adorable and very relaxing two-person hot tub on the patio, which was a bliss after walking around and playing tourist all day. We also ate at their restaurant, the Coho. It was a tiny, intimate, and very nice restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
I don't even know where to start on the food. I had the corned beef stuffed cabbage leaves. It was delectable, flavorful, delicious, and any other word you can think of for wow. The soup was the best tomato soup I've ever had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone considering it. We went for our anniversary and would not hesitate to return.

Staying at Tucker House was like a second honeymoon. The house itself is beautiful and every room was decorated with comfort in mind. Our room was was very cozy, which made it difficult to leave! Beautifully decorated with special touches made it feel like we were guests in our best friend's home. I enjoyed the Lavender products provided and we loved coming back to the room to a plate of delicious cookies! The location is perfect, near the main street and easy to find. The staff was very friendly and did everything perfectly, making our stay a wonderful experience! We will definitely be returning!
This was a very good experience for us. We stayed in Jenny's Cottage, which is a smaller stand-alone in the complex. Although it was small, it had everything we needed, including a little kitchen with stove and fridge! I have a Labradoodle that goes everywhere with me. I liked the touches they provided including coffee, milk and orange juice. The breakfast there was really good and a cut above the usual motel breakfasts. I liked it so much that I stayed an extra night and the next day the skies cleared and it was a perfect day to tour the island. I would definitely stay here again!
