You will be picked up from your hotel at 08:30 and driven to the flower market. This unique market sells flowers from all across Vietnam, and offers a fantastic insight into the flora of the country, as well as a chance to experience something different. When you leave the flower market behind, you will visit a traditional Vietnamese market, where you will see the typical bustling lifestyle of the city. You will see all the different local products and foods on sale (dont forget to try something fancy). You will visit the Fito museum, which documents enlighten visitors about traditional Vietnamese medicine, including the use of herbs, ancient books and instruments. Then you will visit Dong Pho restaurant for a tasty lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the citys oldest quarter exploring this character full neighborhood, including Le Cong Kieu street, referred to as the Antique Street, famous for unique oriental art and authentic vintage goods, as well as very convincing fakes. Head to the Beaux-Arts Museum to enjoy culture, before sampling a Ho Chi Minh institution: Fannys ice cream parlor. Check out from your hotel and transfer to Saigon airport, where you will catch a flight to Da Nang. From there, you will take a 30-minute drive to the charming port town of Hoi An, which has remained largely unchanged from its original beauty. You will take a walking tour of the town, visiting the 400-year-old Japanese covered bridge, and taking a stroll through the market. Cooking class. Leave your hotel early, and meet with Chef Duc Tram at a local market, where you will pick out some ingredients for the days lesson. Chef Duc will introduce you to many of the different ingredients and his favorite produce, including fresh local fish and seafood. After the market, you will head over to Ducs restaurant - Mango Rooms -, where you will have your class. Learn the art of seasoning and get the chance to cook some of the Ducs signature dishes, including pan-seared blue fin tuna steak with garlic, onion, ginger, basil and sesame seeds, and battered prawns in a Japanese-Vietnamese style sauce. After the class, sit down to enjoy the dishes you have cooked. The afternoon and evening are free to visit Hoi Ans art galleries, museums and shops, or just to head to the beach for relaxation. Leave Hoi An in the morning and take a three-hour journey to Hue. This scenic drive takes you through Da Nang, where you will visit the Cham museum and the Pass of Ocean Clouds, that takes you to the fishing village of Lang Co. Hue is a special place of Vietnamese cuisine, famous for the lavish and tasty royal cuisine, prepared during the Nguyen Dynasty. You will have lunch at Ancient Hue restaurant. Later you will be picked up from your hotel by cyclo, where you will head to the center of the old city to explore the Tay Loc market. You will then be driven to the Imperial Citadel, a majestic and graceful palace where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled from between 1802 and 1945. In the evening, dine at a private garden house where you will taste a traditional Vietnamese meal and then head back to the hotel for the night.
