"I organised a day tour to Zhouzhuang water village from Shanghai for 17 people. I arranged with Selina via email who was exceptionally helpful and quick to respond. Martin was our guide and was fantastic - with very good English. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone."

"Zhouzhuang village is very pretty and was surprisingly empty, apparently because of the heat. A great trip if you have 4-6 hours to fill in in Shanghai."

"We booked a private tour through the internet with Travel China Guide to see the sights in Beijing. It was fabulous! Our guide, Brenda, was excellent, and the driver was very polite and always on time to pick us up at the different places throughout the tour. Our guide had a very good command of English, provided a lot of information about the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace. She was very nice, punctual and accommodating. We also had a fantastic travel consultant, Ms. Lydia Meng, who made the arrangements of our tour. She was very patient and answered all our questions immediately and accurately. I highly recommend this company. They are very reliable, secure and their price for a private tour for two people (my husband and myself) was excellent. If you want a memorable tour, book with this company."

"The night before we were warmly received at the train station and settled us at the Crowne Plaza hotel by Carol our guide in Xi'an. Started early a beautiful day and Carol was on the dot. Visit the eighth wonder of the world Terracotta Warriors and Horses museum. Worth every bit. Carol was very elaborate in discussing the history. By sheer luck we were able to meet and take photographs with the person who discovered the Terracotta soldiers. TCG arranged an authentic Chinese lunch at the home of a Chinese family - very impressive. The afternoon was a visit to the Xi'an ancient city wall - it's a must.Evening was a famous dumpling dinner followed by Tang dynasty music and dance show. I loved it. It was our 40th wedding anniversary and CTG and Carol, our guide, surprised us with an anniversary cake after the dinner in the midst of the show. I think it was very touching. Thank you. Our day program was very extensive but everything was planned well and perfect. Our guide Carol was superb and knowledgeable with perfect English. We really enjoyed our Xi'an visit and China Guide did a superb job. I will commend them surely."

"Travel China Guide provided great service when I needed to order train tickets for my China trip. They email promptly and the process is smooth. I gave them my hotel address and tickets were waiting for me when I arrived. I would recommend them to anyone who does not want to deal with getting train tickets at the station or doesn't speak Mandarin."

"Thank you for the comprehensive tour we took around China from Beijing to Xian, to Guilin, to Shanghai. It was a well-organized tour, and the agency covered us every step of the way, from the moment we landed to the moment we departed! The choice of hotels and restaurants was excellent. The guides had good English, and were courteous, and accommodating. The itinerary was well chosen with interesting sites not to be missed. What a great experience! Thank you Travel China Guide!"

"My wife and I concluded our 8-day China tour of Beijing-Xian-Shanghai. Our 3 tour guides Sara, Lili, and Rita were wonderful and I would recommend this tour for anyone that want to see the highlights. Like most tours, they do take you to pointless stop over shops/factories like a jade store, Terracotta, silk shops but I guess they have to.The day we did our Great Wall trip, we saw ourselves on the bus for 3 hours due to heavy traffic and another 3 hours back to our hotel hence we did not see the other attractions like the Sacred Way or Ming Tomb. On our last night in Shanghai we and some other group members asked the tour guide to book seats at the Chinese acrobatic circus! It's a must see!"
