Thanks to our wonderful tour director Morag and driver the tour went without a hitch. We loved the information that was given to us and have recommended your tour to many friends since we returned. We loved every minute of our tour. Great food, new friends and tons of memories.

Great service and concern for guests. Educational and fun. The hotels were all clean. Simple business accommodations overall. The quality of the hotel food was not consistent. One hotel was out of oatmeal for breakfast! This tour covers lots of miles. A great way to see Ireland.

Most meals were of a high standard; however, the first-evening meal in Tokyo, at a barbecue restaurant, was disappointing. 5 different sections of chicken, starting from neck down to chicken balls as yakatori were served. The tour guide was very pleasant and helpful. When she had to deal with a very rude guest, she tried very hard to make things run smoothly. The hotels were of a high standard, all within walking distance to the shopping centre. I think by taking this tour I learnt a lot more about Japan than I could've learned on my own. Our tour director, Mimi (Mihoko Hino), was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Japan's history and language, which helped us to understand and appreciate what we were seeing.

Our tour director, Mimi Hino, was caring and attentive. The mix of activities was excellent. The hotels were good, but Trafalgar must make sure the rooms are non-smoking rooms that have no smoke residue. This was a problem in Kyoto. Also, one of the temporary buses used by Trafalgar had smoke residue and ashtrays. Not good.In Tokyo, we only had 45 minutes of free time in the Ginza District, then, right after that, way too much time for the exterior of the Imperial Palace. I think we should have had one and a half hour more for Ginza. There was also too much time allotted for the Nomura Samurai House in Kanazawa.

General organization of the tour was excellent. Accommodation and transport were top class. Excellent tour with lots of memorable experiences. Our travel director, Mihoko Hino, was extraordinary, knowledgeable, personable, and attentive to the group needs. It was good that there were only 22 people on our bus - not a full bus.
