This farm-hotel set in the Tuscan countryside has eight rooms available in double occupancy. The ensuite rooms are elegant and traditionally designed, and they all have daily maid service. The pool offers spectacular views. On the top of the hill, dominating and enjoying a breathtaking sight, there is the wine cellar, a modern structure with the traditional wings-shape leant over the vineyards hills and the historical homestead-barn compound, today used as elegant farm-holidays and restaurant. Inside the wine cellar, next to the technical premises, there is a modern wine tasting center and the wine shop.

Flow of the day

Mornings begin with a stunning view of the countryside and wonderful sound of nature. You will enjoy a quiet moment out in the patio sipping cappuccino or tea, before starting the daily practice. Since this is meant to be a holiday we will start the practice at 08:30 and will share, for about two hours, a deep, fun and explorative yoga practice led by Massimo Cantara. Yoga sessions will take place under the patio, or indoor. At 10:30, breakfast will be served and you will enjoy a nice Italian style buffet with plenty of cakes, fruits, yogurt, coffee, etc.

In the afternoons, the amazing program includes visits to the hot springs of Petriolo, a visit to Siena, to Montalcino, to the seaside, cooking lessons, and wine tastings. You can also chose to have some free time to lounge by the pool, relax with a massage, or simply read and relax. At sunset, we plan to have two evening during the week long program, of relaxing and rejuvenating restorative yoga, pranayama, and meditation session.

The farm lays on the top of a natural amphitheater facing south-west, 350 meters above sea level. The farm owns 52 hectares, of which 25 hectares are dedicated to vineyards, 2 hectares host olive trees, while a wood of live oaks and cork oaks occupies the remaining 25 hectares. Since Medieval times, on the roads that lead from Maremma towards the inland, the Imposti represented a place where wayfarer and dealers could take a break and get refreshments and could change the cattle or get a hot meal and a glass of wine. At the beginning of 2000, one of these old homesteads, that in the centuries had become a bare pasture, stole the heart of two Lombard friends, thanks to its hillocks facing south and the unspoiled nature of the surroundings.

In the belief that the land and climate of the high Maremma represented an important added valued, they began a 5 years conversion of the old pastures and arable lands into neat vineyards, along with the project to entrap in a bottle all the character of this strong and generous land; certainly warm, sometimes rough, it gives itself slowly to those who have the patience to stop, listen and taste. Place your lips on the glass to taste, with every sip, a chapter of the fascinating history and folklore of Tuscany. Naturally, each label on the bottles recalls local myths, recognized as a patrimony of an oral tradition passed down from generation to generation.
