Pip has been teaching cooking classes for more than 25 years. Pip and Paiboone, her husband decided to build a traditional Thai-style teak house as a homestay to share Thai ways of life with travelers from overseas. The Thai House opened in 1990 and the cooking class started in 1991 after so many requests from guests who had tasted Pip’s home-style cooking. She will share with you her knowledge, recipes, tips, and even secrets. The ways she teaches her students to cook is the way she cooks for her three daughters and teaches them how to cook for their love ones.

It is the best way to experience Thailand. We learned so much about Thai cooking and family culture. We can't thank Pip and her family enough. We felt it was the most authentic way to learn about Thai culture. The accommodation is authentic, rustic, clean, and beautiful. The make you feel like family.
