"I was recently staying in the surrounding area and wanted a day of luxury with my mum. We decided on using the pool here and getting a massage. The spa and massage were lovely, attentive staff and nice quiet facilities. We then spent time by the outside pool which is also a relaxing setting with a lovely bar for lunch."

"The Residence is an extremely nice and well run hotel 30 minutes from the airport or city. The rooms are well maintained with good air conditioner. The hotel staff are extremely nice and welcoming with no issues at all."

"The spa / gym is well run, although the gym opens only at 9 a.m., with a very nice indoor salt water pool."

"The area around the hotel , apart from the beach, is not suitable for walking with no local restaurants / bars and only a small shopping center nearby. "

"We traveled during Ramadan which mean the hotel was very, very quiet with some restaurants closed etc."

"Stayed here for few days in April 2016 and loved the hotel. They offered me an upgrade to a beautiful Seaview room that was quite big and clean with a beautiful decoration. Room service was great and food was delicious and reasonably priced. The guys at the front desk were very helpful. The staff at the thalasso therapy center were very professional and the seawater pool was really amazing. Not much to see around the hotel exept a small mall but it is few mns drive to la Marsa , Sidi Bousaid and all the northern suburb of Tunis. The service standards are much better than anywhere else in Tunis so far , that is why I think I will always go to The Residence whenever staying in Tunis. I recommend it to everyone."

"I stayed in this hotel with my family more than 2 months. The top class best hotel of Tunis and probably in Tunisia. Location is great, in front of a great beach and sea (mostly with waves). The airport is a 20 minutes drive, and other good districts can be reached fast. Service is excellent. Rooms are very large and clean. Food in the hotel is super quality. Very clean areas and all time smiling, helpful staff. Very suitable for business meetings as well. Highly recommended. "

"I was in Tunis for three weeks for work and stayed at The Residence almost the entire time. It's a really lovely hotel, with a stunningly beautiful entry and a beautiful location right on the beach. The rooms are also beautiful, if just slightly worn around the edges. But there is still plenty of attention to detail and the bathrooms are particularly gorgeous. When I arrived the air conditioning wasn't working, and it was quite warm, but the staff were very apologetic and supplied fans when they could. Eventually it was fixed and then I really could not have been more comfortable. Over all the service was really top-notch: everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. I got to know the restaurant staff quite well, given that I ate there for most meals, and the food was very good. Extremely fresh and delicious seafood, and the couscous and other traditional Tunisian dishes were excellent (especially the harissa served with bread before the meals!). Really an amazing spread. So, over all I can say this is a beautiful place to stay, if slightly removed from the real life of Tunis. Wherever you stay, I do hope people will continue to visit Tunisia - I had a wonderful time there and felt warmly welcomed by everyone I met. A beautiful country that deserves much support."

"We stay here regularly and this place always excels in every aspect of being a hotel: excellent pool, beach, spa and sauna. Hard to put into words how relaxing it is to stay here; genuinely deserves its 5 star rating (which is a rarity). Don't bother trying to leave and look for other restaurants - although there is a good mall within walking good security."
