The Flying Apron sources approximately 90 percent of the food ingredients locally, even in the winter. The ingredients come from within 15 minutes of the restaurant, including sustainable fish. Much of the organic produce, fresh organic fruit, and both lamb and pork were raised on our partner farm, Ironwood Farm, just down the road. It’s not uncommon to see a farmer or two delivering fresh products through the front door during your visit. Strong partnerships and relationships with local farmers, fishermen / fisherwomen, and producers allow The Flying Apron to have a hand in growing the economy in local community and province, all while offering the freshest and best tasting products to their customers. The Flying Apron is a peanut-free facility due to a life-threatening anaphylactic allergy. Please do not bring any peanuts or peanut containing products into the building. The Flying Apron appreciates your help in keeping everyone safe.
