Unfortunately, I only spent one night at the Belmont Inn. It has spacious and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and is at convenient location. Anita is incredibly knowledgeable about the whole state of Maine and provided thoughtful and perfect advice on things to do. Hope to return one day to sit in one of her rocking chairs on her charming front porch.

The Belmont Inn is truly exceptional! Beautiful rooms, lovely furnishings, attention to even the smallest detail, and the most delicious breakfasts you can imagine served by the charming innkeeper, Anita. Be sure to ask for her advice on places to go and things to do in the Camden area. She is a full of knowledge, which she is happy to share!

I stayed at the Belmont Inn in late September with my mother. Anita was extremely knowledgeable about the area and she was able to point us in the direction of the best places to visit and eat. I am extremely hard to feed, but she was happy to change things around to provide a breakfast that I could eat. The room was large and comfortable, and had Wi-Fi, which was useful to us for planning the next few days of our trip, after we left Camden. I would definitely recommend staying here, if you are ever in Camden.

What a gorgeous experience this was from beginning to end. The rooms are lovely and all different, and it is in a fabulous location in Camden. Anita is amazing and so willing to give her time to ensure her guests have a great stay not only in her Inn, but in Camden. Great restaurant recommendations, help with confirming our flights, beautiful breakfasts, and a wonderful warmth that made everyone feel special. You will love it.

Our short stay at Belmont Inn met or exceeded our expectations. It delivers the personal touch and attention to detail that is the hallmark of a bed and breakfast or small inn. The rooms are immaculate and well appointed. There are no TV, but there is Wi-Fi. Breakfast was excellent and Anita cheerfully accommodates dietary restrictions. She also provided helpful advice about local restaurants. The Inn is located in a quiet neighborhood, just a short stroll from downtown Camden. It has an off street parking. There is no shortage of bed and breakfasts and fine inns in Camden, but most are located on Route One and most are larger. Belmont Inn offers the classic bed and breakfast experience in a more tranquil setting.

We stayed a week here. The inn keeper is very good at recommending dining, sightseeing, and more. It is a beautiful bed and breakfast, and our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The breakfasts are very good and different every day. We stayed here, so that we could make day trips to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and other scenic destinations within easy driving distances. Highly recommended. October is beautiful here and the lobster is wonderful.

The location is great to walk to and from town. Her garden is beautiful and flourishing. There is only one serving time for breakfast and that time was 8:30 a.m., and the food was wonderful (if you want tea or coffee before breakfast, that is available too). She gave us the name of a great restaurant in town and we were not disappointed. We had a good night sleep and we were on the road shortly after breakfast. Just one hint, she has a cat; we are not allergic to it, but thought I would add this for those who may be.

The Belmont Inn is a very beautiful inn. We loved the gardens, porch, lovely common room with great art, books, music, sculptures, and a supply of chocolate candies. We enjoyed the leisurely gourmet breakfasts that included generous fruit servings. The innkeeper was extremely accommodating to our every need. One can't get this sort of service at a hotel. We stayed in the spacious Jo Spiller Room and liked the fact that there was no TV.

We stayed 2 nights and wish we had stayed longer. Anita was extremely helpful and welcoming. She gave us a great recommendation for McLoons Lobster Pound, one of the best lobster rolls we've ever had, and we've had a bunch coming up to Maine almost every year. The porch is most welcoming for a pleasant afternoon read or possibly a nap. We could easily walk to downtown Camden from this location.

We loved our getaway to the Belmont Inn. The innkeeper, Anita was delightful. We arrived early afternoon and parked our car in the back. Check in was at 4 p.m., so we walked to downtown Camden and did some shopping. What an adorable town it was. At 4 p.m., we checked in, where Anita met us at the door. There was a mom and daughter from Halifax, who also had just arrived, so we were given the tour of downstairs together. Anita gave us a local map and her recommendations for dinner. We decided to make a reservation at Shepherds Pie, a short drive away in Rockport. We had a wonderful dinner there. My husband had the shepherds pie and I had the fried clam tacos. Both were delicious. We ate at the bar and wind up talking to some very friendly locals. The bartender was great, as well. Our room at the inn was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very gourmet-baked apple, coffee, juices, puffed pastry egg, artichoke soufflé, and warm tomatoes, and we were offered extras, all prepared and served very hot by Anita. We will be back.

We have stayed in many B&Bs, and the Belmont Inn is at the top of the list. Our experience was welcoming, peaceful, comfortable, convenient to the town of Camden, but what really made a positive impression was Anita, the innkeeper. She was warm and endearing, greeting us like we were long time friends. She was extremely helpful, directing us to places to see and restaurants to please us. Her breakfasts were so good and the perfect way to start the day. Loved her sweet snacks available all day! We will return!

The Allen Room provided great rest after full days of quiet Camden shopping, eating, and treasure hunting experiences. The breakfasts were delicious, provided by a very detail oriented inn keeper, Anita. We thank her and her beautiful inn for a lovely stay near the sea.

This was an excellent B&B. Great hospitality, very comfortable, and clean rooms. The owner, Anita is most helpful and friendly. Breakfast is nice and coffee is available whole day long. We have visited already twice and will return when we are traveling to Camden.

Highly recommend experiencing the hospitality and beautiful accommodations at The Belmont Inn in Camden. We made a week long trip up the coast of Maine, staying in B&Bs along the way. This place was definitely one of the highlights. Anita, the inn keeper made us feel so welcome and her beautiful breakfast, which introduced us to maple cream, was outstanding. She provided us with expert recommendations, which helped us enjoy the area surrounding Camden and made our trip more memorable. We look forward to going back again!

We love Camden, Maine, and visit almost every summer, but usually only for a day. We were so pleased to discover the beautiful Belmont Inn, and we will definitely return! We stayed two nights in August (our 17-year-old son joined us and he had his own room). The garden in front of the inn is full of beautiful flowers. Anita served delicious gourmet breakfasts both mornings and she gave us some great ideas of sights to see. One was Owls Head Transportation Museum, a huge museum with an amazing selection of vintage automobiles, planes and more. Both of our rooms were beautifully decorated and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Just writing this review makes me want to go back!

Came down from Canada for an overnight getaway and The Belmont Inn was everything we were looking for. Charming in many ways, and pretty in others. It is very comfortable and clean, the private bathrooms were perfect and made my partner very happy. It is in a very quiet area of town, and only minutes from the downtown shops and water front. The inn keeper, Anita is extremely friendly and very helpful.
