"I was staying at a neighboring farmhouse and found out about Tasty Tuscany's classes and I'm so glad!! I had the most fabulous experience learning to make Tuscan cuisine. Manul is a wonderful teacher, she is so patient, funny and smart. Her way of using produce from her own garden, seasonal items, and/or local and organic was inspiring. She is a wealth of information and so passionate about the value of great food. Each menu was well thought out, with simple ingredients and delightful. We made multiple courses each night in the kitchen while sipping wine and later sitting down together for a wonderful meal. The conversation, ambiance and vibe of this place was a true treasure. Each evening I would hear about the fantastic day excursions the other guests took with Paolo and I have to say I was jealous. This is a true one-stop holiday destination."

"We've just come back from six wonderful nights with Manul and Paolo, and so many happy memories. Not to mention a stack of wonderful recipes to recreate at home. Travelling with my 14-year old daughter, this really was an ideal trip: mornings of visiting fascinating local places, afternoons of cooking, evenings of eating, talking, laughing. The house is in an idyllic hillside location, surrounded by olive trees. The rooms are comfortable, although we didn't spend a lot of time in them. Well, the odd afternoon siesta perhaps. The pool is delightful, perfect for a cooling dip. The itinerary is a perfect combination of activity and downtime, though definitely errs on the busy side, so if you are just looking to sit by the pool, this is not the trip for you. But if you want stimulating adventures and incredible food, with great people, then I would say book now! I'd love to go back when they do the olive harvest, what an experience that would be. Thanks to Paulo and Manul, it was most definitely a trip we will always remember!"

"We were so glad we listened to our friend, Tony, who recommended Tasty Tuscany. What a great experience! The schedule was perfect - just the right mix of relaxation time, excursions and cooking. Manul and Paolo were wonderful hosts - Paolo was the perfect tour guide and Manul is not only a great cook but a wonderful teacher, too. We were also blessed to be joined by two other couples who became our new friends. It was a lot of fun and we’ve all decided to not only stay in touch but to do it again in a few years! Mille grazie, Tasty Tuscany! Ci retorneremo! (We shall return!)"

"This was the perfect cooking vacation for my mom and me. The farmhouse was lovely and we enjoyed the beautiful views from our bedroom windows. There were ample gorgeous hiking trails to enjoy in evenings. The cooking classes were very enjoyable and easy to follow (and incredibly delicious)! All the meals we had were savory. We couldn't get enough of the homemade olive oil. Manul has a way with food and is a wonderful teacher. Paolo did a fantastic job taking us to multiple beautiful locations and teaching us "fun facts" along the way. "Wiki Paolo" is a source of invaluable information. Paolo made sure we not only knew about the history of the area we were going to, but also catered the information he presented to information he knew we would want to know. I would highly recommend Tasty Tuscany to those looking to relax, enjoy a quieter side of Italy, and learn to cook."

"From the choice of menu, the quietness of the villa, the music selected while we cooked and the friendliness of Paolo and Manul. Everything was great. They were open to changing the menu and always had some great wine around."

"An absolutely lovely experience at a farmhouse villa in the provence of Pisa. The setting is beautiful, quiet, relaxing, and comfortable. One of the best parts was not having to plan a thing. The breakfast was set up every morning and we could take a walk, run, or do yoga on the grounds. Then we had wonderful, intimate excursions led by the informative and entertaining Paolo each day. Coming back for lunch, or right after we had some downtime in the late afternoon and then enjoyed a 4-course cooking class."

"This holiday was the choice of a friend who was celebrating a special birthday. I'd looked at the Tasty Tuscany web site before we set off but was unsure of what the week would hold. It turned out to be one of the most enjoyable holidays we've had. From being picked up on time at Pisa airport we were looked after for the whole week. We were joined by two Canadian ladies and we hit it off right away. We talked, laughed, cooked, drank wine and on one occasion the birthday girl burst into song ! Lunch was simple but tasty and the cookery lessons were so different to my own cooking , lots of herbs and vegetables. Our trips out were always exciting - not the usual touristy spots and the views were spectacular especially looking out from Volterra. Our trip to Florence was memorable as was the few hours we spent in Pisa. Overall a great week . Thank you for everything Manul and Paolo."

"Well, my husband and I just returned from a week with Pat & Paolo and they certainly exceeded all the expectations that I at least had. It was a nice balance of activity, rest at the home (not to be confused with "house"), cooking, and all around good times. I was a bit worried at first when we first arrived, mostly since our flight got diverted from Florence to Pisa midflight and Paolo was waiting for us at Florence, although he took this with stride and still picked us up from the airport (much thanks!). Make sure you do bring your basic hygiene products (lots of bugspray, we got eaten up relaxing in the evenings outside) and sunscreen since you do have some time to spend at the pool (or just sunbathe for that matter). The breakfast is pretty light with yogurts, cereals, fruit, juice, and you can also make espresso. The lunches and dinners were so delicious with fresh fruits/veggies used and Pat is very knowledgeable about different ways to make the recipes so you can have multiple variations/uses for the recipes she teaches to you. The cooking classes are pretty informal, although Pat will answer any questions you have (even the ones that aren't quite related to what you are presently doing), and occasionally break in dance (well, we all sometimes did) with the music playing, and is just overall a very enjoyable experience.Paolo takes you to many historic places like Certaldo, a beautiful monastery, Volterra (great views) and is a great storyteller and has a great sense of humor. This was just a great experience where you don't have to worry about all the details, and just go with the flow and enjoy many a glass of wine, good company, and great food while you are at it. My only wish is that I could have spent more time with Pat to learn from her and spend time with the amazing group we were with. Thank you Pat & Paolo for an amazing week into your slice of heaven, it will always hold a special place in our hearts!"

"I want to thank Patricia and Paolo for opening up their home and hearts. The villa (farmhouse) is warm and inviting, and I felt comfortable traveling solo. I met the most wonderful loving people. We learned to cook local food that was so fresh and delicious. Pat is an amazing, spiritual woman that makes everyone feel special. Poalo took us on excursions that were off the beaten path. He is very knowledgeable and charming. I will never forget this trip of a lifetime. It was more than I asked for. I highly recommend it to all. Bellisima."
