The house, called Podere il Poggione is nestled on top of a hill, surrounded by cypress and olive trees. The beautiful garden invites you to eat "al fresco", to take a nap under the fragrant shade of the wistaria tree. The pool is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the 360 panorama. Four bedrooms and a suite, all with enclosed bathroom, each one with it's own character and beautiful furniture handed down from generation to generation. Everything combines to create a cozy atmosphere to make you feel completely home. Daily room cleaning and laundry on the property.
After experiencing the cooking classes and the guided tours, you are ready to move your own steps on this beautiful land. It is time to connect with the Tuscan lifestyle from within it. A little bit of time by yourself or with your friends, exploring Florence or Lucca, sitting in a caf, getting a cappuccino or a real gelato, doing a little shopping, visiting a museum, or just hanging around with the pleasure of breathing the place, the sounds, the smells, the rhythm of life here. Then, get back home in the evening for another delicious dinner all together. Friday is farmers market day and you cannot miss a visit: food, vegetables, plants and flowers, clothes, and leather items. Some good deals and lot of fun.
Your culinary holiday will be in Palaia, a beautiful walled medieval town in the province of Pisa. From there, the beautiful Tuscan panorama: rolling hills, with their profiles marked by the dark shade of the cypresses.
