Ca’ Maffio has four rooms: camera rosa, camera calycantus, camera glicine, and a suite; all of them with en‐suite bathrooms. Each room is distinguished by a different color scheme: green, yellow, violet, and red. Each color scheme blends in perfectly with the refined furnishings and elegant fabrics. Ca’ Maffio offers its guests a period ambience with all modern comforts; all rooms have air-conditioning, safe, Wi-Fi free of charge to all rooms and garden, Internet connection, and free unattended parking; television is available upon request. During the warmer months, guests can enjoy an al fresco breakfast or sundowner in the villa’s lovely garden. Please note that smoking is only permitted in outside areas.
You will start at 09:30 and visit the renowned Rialto Market; in there, you will discover its history and, between the wide offers of products, you will choose and shop the different ingredients for your hands‐on cooking lesson. Afterwards, you will take the traghetto gondola to Cannaregio and arrive at Teresa's house, a typical Venetian palazzo, to take your cooking lesson. Today’s menu is decided and discussed with you beforehand. For each dish, a different bottle of wine will be opened and explained by Sommelier Cecilia Sitran. You will end your class with a lovely lunch and enjoy the fruits of your hard work with plenty of wine, of course.
