The decision to stay with a host family will undoubtedly offer you a true Spanish living experience. Your host family will be composed of parents and children, couples without children, or individuals living alone, all of which enjoy the company of others and look forward to the opportunity to share their culture. The Spanish course will be started on any Monday of the year. You will have 20 45-minute lessons per week or four lessons per day for all levels. In the low season, from January to April, there is only morning timetable. During the high season from May to September, you have rotating schedules every week, for example, some groups will have classes one week in the morning. This schedule will change the following week to the afternoon so that all students can have free mornings and free afternoons every week and vice versa.
The maximum number of students per class is 10 and the minimum is four. If the number of students per class is less than four, Tandem Escuela Internacional Madrid will reduce the number of classes to half of the total. Cultural activities will be organized in the afternoons from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. including a wine tasting, visits to a winery, or an introductory class to art and wine at the Prado Museum.

A visit to the market of San Miguel, a typical Spanish market where, by means of a questionnaire previously drawn up by yourself, and you will ask shop assistants and customers a series of questions and subsequently write a report in pairs about the situation of the market.
A cultural meeting called Cuisine of the World in which all pupils and teachers prepare a typical dish from their country, region, etc. will be held. You have to write the recipe and your classmates ask about the dish and how it is made before voting for the best dish. There will also be cinema and theater evenings and clown sessions to help you overcome your shyness communicating in a foreign language.

They will provide you a telephone number in which you can contact the person in charge of transportation. This person will wait at the most 60 minutes after the planned time of flight’s arrival. If you do not contact them, the service will be canceled. It is a private and comfortable transfer and each trip (one way) costs 65 EUR.
