    Learnt alot about Greek homestyle cooking. Suzanna the Teacher is very open to what I wanted to learn and shared her knowledge om using fresh produce. The hotel staff is very friendly and the village of Olympia is a MUST see.

      Suzanna and Theo are just wonderful people. Olympia is charming and you couldn't ask for more wonderful hosts. And let them feed you at the Aegean. Real Greek food only found when Mama is in the kitchen. Try artichoke hearts in lemon sauce. Actually you can try most anything. And if you are nice, Suzanna will give you some wonderful Greek recipes. She's Australian but she has learned well from her Greek mother-in-law. Enjoy!

      Hotel Pelops was like coming home. Our group received warm hospitality from the Spiliopolous family during our 3-night stay. Our group of 37 filled the conveniently located hotel in comfortable rooms. I was especially grateful to have a pot in which to heat water for tea or my Starbucks Via which was the first time in 5 locations. There was a hairdryer, small refrigerator, and small TV. We had a patio and upper floors had balconies. There was a computer available for guest use and a large book exchange.

      The Pelops served an ample breakfast with plenty of variety. I especially liked the freshly squeezed orange juice. As a special bonus, Suzanna offers cooking classes (she is a great cook). We participated in making tzatziki and cheese pie. There are nearby restaurants, small groceries, a church across the street, and numerous shops including jewelry. In addition, we were able to easily walk to the ancient Olympic site and museums (go early). I thoroughly enjoyed my wonderful stay in Olympia and at the Hotel Pelops.
