Your Ceramics Tutor

Dionysia was born in Marineika, Zakynthos, where her studio is located now. As a child, she remembers playing with mud under the lemon trees, trying to make small figurines and statues. After studying ceramics and paintings in Athens, Dionysia returned to Zakynthos in 1996 and opened her own pottery studio. Since then, she has created decorative and functional ceramics in her own workshop, which also houses a permanent exhibition of her work. As well as participating in personal and group exhibitions in both Zakynthos and Athens, she also likes to be involved in the local community with educational school programs, providing workshops for children. Her ceramics are different forms, colours and designs, inspired by the life and nature of Zakynthos itself.
