Day 1: Arrival and welcome dinner
Welcome to Bologna, the capital of Emilia Romagna! Meeting with your driver at Bologna Airport or train station and private transfer to your 4*Hotel in Bologna city center. Welcome drink and afternoon/evening leisure. Dinner in a typical restaurant with 4 courses menu.
Day 2: Bologna food and walking tour
Breakfast in hotel then meet with your guide and start a private tour where you will learn about the history, culture, architecture that makes Bologna medieval market so special and unique.
Your local tour guide will unveil to you the secrets, recipes and you’ll enjoy a variety of food specialties that has secured Bologna’s reputation as being the foodie capital of Italy. You’ll be able to taste a pasta dish, local cold cuts, 1 glass of Lambrusco wine, coffee and the typical Majani Chocolate. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner in a typical restaurant and overnight.
Day 3: Parmigiano factory or balsamic vinegar factory tour
Breakfast in hotel then meet your private driver at the hotel’s lobby. Today, you can choose between an interesting Parmigiano Reggiano factory tour where you'll be able to taste three different types of Parmigiano (12, 18, 24 months old) or a typical balsamic vinegar of Modena experience followed by a tasting. After the 4 hours of experience return back to your hotel in Bologna. Time at leisure. Overnight.
Day 4: Departure
Breakfast in hotel. Private transfer to Bologna airport or rail station. Possibility to extend your stay with extra nights in Bologna or Parma.
