"This was my second stay at Sirkeci. I stayed last year for three nights and this year for one night. The service at this establishment is flawless. Each member of staff made us feel at home and answered all our needs. They gave us a beautiful room that is probably one of the best room I have stayed in my whole life. I did not want to leave the next morning."

"Since I was only staying in Istanbul for one night this year, I wanted to make sure I stayed at place were I would be able to feel the magic of Istanbul. Sirkeci was the perfect choice. It is the perfect location to visit all the historic sites in Sultanhamet and also walk on Istiklal Caddesi or take a ferry boat. "

"I highly recommend staying at this hotel and you will not regret. "

"Finally I like to stay Istanbul is an amazing city. People need to continue to visit it. I felt extremely safe. People need to continue to visit the city and encourage tourism otherwise the loss will be unrepairable."

"This has been our first visit to Istanbul and this great little hotel. Because tourism is way down the hotel is practically empty so I can't speak to it when they are at capacity but, it's really outstanding. We have a corner room on the top floor, lovely balcony looking into the park. We're just 5 minutes from Haga Sophia, Blue Mosque and the list goes on. Breakfast is included and they have different walking tours of the city that are free. Love this hotel & will definitely be back."

"The staff here are absolutely nice and respectful. We received an upgraded deluxe room with a balcony and complimentary breakfast, which btw is fantastic. It's sad that tourism is not doing well in Istanbul nowadays because this hotel offers lots of comfort, safety and luxury to international visitors."

"Beautiful, amazing hotel within walking distance to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia etc. Staff were absolutely amazing; Emre, Ufuk and the beautiful lady at reception were always eager to help; pointing out best places to visit and shop. Other staff at the hotel were equally great, from the men greeting you at the door to the staff at the restaurant. Everyone was very polite and helpful. The family room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast offerings were great and the afternoon tea an absolute treat. I wish we could've stayed here longer. "

"I would definitely return to this hotel and highly recommend it."

"We stayed for a week in this amazing hotel and we had two connecting rooms. Everything was perfect from the cleanliness of the hotel to the food and location. The staff were the icing on the cake..anything you asked for was provided. The staff were there 24 hours to help and always with a smile. The food in the hotel was exquisite and better than the food in the restaurants outside. The terrace is superb...Fantastic view and seating. I also booked the spa and massage.. The spa was spotlessly clean and a lovely experience. The staff had gone out of their way to decorate the spa with tea lights and candles . We were very sad to leave this wonderful hotel and its warm and caring staff. We'll definitely be back.. The politics has no effect on holiday makers so please keep on visiting this beautiful city."

"Every recommendation the staff gave me, shopping, dining, sightseeing, was accurate and excellent. They upgraded my room; quiet, spacious, sunny rooms with excellent quality sheets, towels, and bathrobes. Ask for room 1405. Only regret was I never used the modern well equipped spa and gym."

  • Review by Anne D from UK

"What a wonderful experience we had at this hotel when we stayed for the last week in October. The staff were genuinely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. As a party of six, we all agreed that this hotel was impressive! We were surprised by the number of free services included for our comfort and convenience, such as the orientation meeting, the walking tours and the meze every afternoon. The quality of food in the hotel restaurant was excellent, so we ate there on three occasions. All the staff were courteous and helpful, without exception and the location couldn't be better for sightseeing. I can highly recommend this hotel and will certainly stay here again when visiting Istanbul."

"We spent a couple of days in this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to spend a couple of days in the city, in a clean, affordable and friendly hotel, within walking distance of main attractions, near a tram stop and surrounded by nice shops and restaurants. This hotel offers 1 way airport transfer free of charge for bookings of more than 3 nights, which worked perfectly! in fact there was some sort of mistake as we shared the transport to the hotel with other guests, the concierge apologiesed and offered both transfers free or charge, this was indeed an unexpected offer that only shows how much they trully care about their guests!! we also attended the cooking class, making a Turkish dish with the sous chef ... it was really a nice experience, food was really nice and the chef did his best to answer all our questions about: where to by spices, which spices, etc.....We booked the double room, it was clean, bright and perfect size for 2 people... the call for pray is not heard at the hotel which is a very positive aspect, so we could sleep until 8:30ish... there is a construction side next to the hotel which can get very noisy, however if you plan to go out all day long this should not affect you! all in all a very, very nice experience... do not spend more time looking for hotels in this category, you'll be positively surprised!!"

  • Review by a traveler from Brisbane, Australia

"I recently spent 9 nights at Sirkeci Mansion in Istanbul and could not have been happier with my stay every aspect of it was brilliant. The good feeling about this hotel started right from the time of booking. I dealt with Ceren who was so helpful and provided me with all the information I needed. This was followed up by Damla who greeted us on arrival and shared lots of very useful local information. This level of support was offered by all staff and continued through the length of the stay. I have never before had so much help from hotel staff in getting to know the local area.I began my stay in a Superior room bigger than it appears on the internet and very comfortable. The last 6 nights of my stay were in a Deluxe room and that was magical. There is so much space and having the balcony looking out over the street and onto Gulhane Park was wonderful. I slept on the sofa bed in the Deluxe room which was very comfortable so although the Deluxe rooms are not advertised as twin rooms they work very well as such. The location of the hotel is excellent. Almost everywhere I wanted to visit was within walking distance. The hotel is surrounded by all sorts of shops and so just wandering near the hotel is heaps of fun.The breakfast provided meant a great start to each day there was an excellent range of cold and cooked foods each day and everything was so fresh and tasty. I enjoyed trying all the different fresh, local foods. Breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate lunch out each day but ate most dinners in Neyzade restaurant in the hotel. Every meal we had at Neyzade was delicious the menu has great variety and once again, lots of local fresh food. Staff in the restaurant were wonderful and had a great sense of fun. The staff of the hotel are amazingly friendly and supportive I cannot thank them enough. Its one thing for a hotel to offer a good range of services but it truly is the tone set by the staff that makes the difference. There is a great sense of teamwork amongst the staff and every person I dealt with was fantastic. My friend and I participated in the culinary tour offered by the hotel and I am so happy we did. We learned about Turkish cuisine and got to try lots of different local foods and we also were shown some good shortcuts which were very useful during our stay.Thank you to Enver for sharing your local knowledge with us. I would love to visit Istanbul again and would not hesitate to stay at Sirkeci Mansion again I certainly left this hotel feeling there were no strangers there, only friends I hadnt met before."

  • Review by a traveler from New York, US

"Just returned from 3 days in Instanbul. Wonderful experience at the hotel. The reviews were correct. Everyone was incredibly hospitable. There was a absolutely fantastic culinary tour given by one of the hotel senior staff (Okey) that was fun, informative and a delight. One of the highlights of our trip. The location was perfect if you want to be in the old city. They were helpful at the front desk. The sauna/pool/steam room is small, but clean and quite nice. Would absolutely return."

"In the old city and close to everything. A quiet oasis at the end of a busy day touristing. The staff are very welcoming. I have never had better service, with our own tourist advisor at the hotel, who took us through the best and easiest way to explore Istanbul.Great hospitality with tea and drinks served in the lounge each afternoon. Free wine tasting and cooking classes were a fantastic idea. The hotel room was quiet and comfortable. Free wifi was great. Excellent breakfast. We ate two nights in the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent and inexpensive, and a change from the bustle of the outside restaurants."
