The four cottages and the modern country homestead are spread out with plenty of space to sit quietly and enjoy the surrounds. You can choose to stay in a twin shared room, a private double room with a queen size bed, or in a double room with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom.
The rainforest country homestead is a great healing retreat featuring four comfortable rooms. It has a large open kitchen, perfect for the workshop and vegetarian cooking demonstrations, and three lounge areas with open fireplaces.
The cottages are unique and in harmony with the natural surrounds, featuring lots of timber. They are fully self-contained and equipped with everything you will need for a home away from home. Cozy fireplaces and some magnificent views are also present.
The yoga is restorative, healing, and deeply rejuvenating, and the asanas are presented in a sequence, flowing one to the next. The practice focuses on aligning one’s breath and spiritual intention with movement.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi, the class will welcome you, and is open to practitioners of all levels. The classes present classical yoga teachings relevant to one’s life on and off the mat, supported by breath awareness, flowing sequences, alignment, relaxation, and meditation.

When you meditate at the full moon time, you open to the powerful opportunity of receiving abundant clarity and fresh energy, thus assisting your spiritual path and a deeper experience of inner peace. True meditation offers a stillness which you can then carry throughout your life, and brings balance and harmony into all you do.
The moon connected with the waters is also influencing your body, emotions, and feelings which are often out of balance because of stressful everyday life. You will enjoy a guided walk to hidden waterfalls within the surrounding national parks on your third day. There is also an opportunity for a rainforest walk on the second day, which you can take instead of the Ayurvedic cooking workshop. You will also be practicing yoga in various locations on the one hundred acre grounds daily.
Located beside Maiala National Park, the Mount Glorious Retreat is bordered by rainforest, on one hundred acres of pristine gardens nestled amidst the scenic D'Aguliar National Park. The retreat is close to the tiny and quaint village of Mount Glorious, and after a gorgeous drive down the one-kilometer forest driveway, you will enter an oasis, a place you will long to return to. The retreat is a home away from home.
You will enjoy delicious Ayurvedic and vegetarian lunches and dinners that will be carefully prepared by Karuna. You will have the chance to learn how to prepare Ayurvedic food during the cooking class.
There are many bush walking and hiking tracks in the area and an abundance of wildlife, so remember to bring your walking shoes. Maiala National Park is an excellent choice for spending your free time.
