"Our consultant was friendly, helpful, responsive, and gave us good ideas. The information was provided in a most helpful (and interesting) way. Four different guides with four different styles and presentation, so tricky to summarize in one box. All were very helpful; some variation in knowledge and the offering of information. Win Bo in Bagan stood out as exceptional, having taken much trouble to prepare for expected questions. Given that we were on the ground for only ten days, the pace was right; perhaps we should have taken a little longer to allow more 'breathing space. The staff at Bagan King (Mandalay) were outstanding for friendly help. Room was small but well designed and nicely appointed. The view and room at Bagan were very good. Ngapali room was spacious and well appointed, but foot traffic in front of verandah was quite heavy."

"Anna Macdougall, our consultant, was always so helpful and thorough with the information she provided - always a pleasure to speak to. All the information provided was extremely helpful and thorough. We loved the document holder provided and the little maps and itinerary inside! Such a lovely, personal touch. All the guides were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. There was one guide in particular in Hue (I can't remember the spelling of his name, pronounced 'Yan') that was a pleasure to be around and had a great sense of humor. Exceptional properties were all thoroughly clean. We absolutely loved the boutique hotel in Hoi An. The setting and grounds were stunning. We felt like we were in paradise - the perfect place to be on your honeymoon! The food was exceptional everywhere we ate!"

"Our consultant was incredibly helpful, it was a fabulous Honeymoon! Definitely the trip of a life time. All guides were fabulous. Ha in Hanoi was superb and so helpful, his knowledge was brilliant and he also ensured that we saw the best of Hanoi in terms of culture, he was always suggesting things we could do if we wanted to, to make the most of our time in the North. Binh (in Hue) was amazing as well, the cycle tour was a lot of fun. Ha is very knowledgeable and was helpful during our stay. Tony (in Ho Chi Minh / Saigon) was very good too, we really enjoyed the walking tour. There was also a female guide that took us to the Cu Chi tunnels who was brilliant and incredibly helpful, she was the only one we did not get to thank and would appreciate it if you could find out her name and send us the office address so that we can send her a card to thank her. Our honeymoon was perfect and the Ha Long Bay cruise was amazing!"

"Consultant Comments: Ed Wilson was excellent at every stage. He gave good advice and did not try to sell us things we didn't want, which was appreciated. There was no pressure and he listened to the type of holicay we wanted and came up with some excelent suggestions. Guide Comments: All the guides were good, however the last guide in Hoi Chi Min was outstanding. Very knowledgeable about everything. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer.Exceptional Properties: The Fusion Maia in Danang and the Essence Hotel in Hanoi were excelent. The Junk was also at a very good standard. Poor Properties: We were meant to be staying in Hotel Majestic in Hoi Chi Minh however we were advised before traveling that there were engineering works going on, so we moved to the Riverside. We were very disappointed to find that on arrival at the Riverside there were also extensive engineering works going on.There was heavy drilling and banging from 8am to 6pm every day. You also could not use the pool as there were workman all around it and wires. I was told it was safe, but wires were actual draping into the pool and it was off putting anyway being in a bikini with 10 workman around. I complained about the noise and the response was very dismissive, they really did not seem to care.I complained to my guide who was excelent and got us a room upgrade to a suite, which was nicer (the first room was incredibly small, I am suprised it was a deluxe room, I would hate to see a standard) but still very noisy and the shower didn't work. It was not the standard we had come to expect and I would not stay there again.Highlight: We loved Hanoi, the tour guide at Hoi Chi Min was excelent. We also really liked the Vespa tour in Hoi Chi Min (the guide on it was brilliant) and we loved the cooking tour in Hoi An. Lowlight: The last hotel we stayed in in Hoi Chi Min was very disapointing. Selective Asia response: We are extremely sorry for the problems you experienced at the Riverside, these works were only belated announced to us this week. Karl will liaise with you directly regarding this."
