You will visit Chavchavadze museum. The complex in Tsinandali embraces the memorial house, a landscape garden, a historical winery, wine cellar, hotel and a café. It was in the Tsinandali winery that the wine was first bottled in Georgia. Al. Chavchavadze’s collection of vintage wines consists of over 15000 bottles, with the oldest dated with 1814.
A private museum of Wine and Vine was created on the territory of the winery where 294 unique indigenous sorts of Georgian and 92 foreign vines are already on display, one can also find on the territory of the winery a Museum of old Georgian wine-making equipment and other exponents.
Georgia is one of the oldest wine regions in the world, Known as a “cradle of wine”. Georgian viticulture is very deep and has 8000 years continuous tradition.
