"Any person interested in the complex beauty that is Thai cooking should not give this course a miss. Welcomed into the home of a kind, interesting and generous local couple is just one reason to book a place on this dynamic and informative experience. I did the lesson with my mum and we had such a laugh, while learning lots too. Kru Sai has found the perfect balance between teaching and having fun, and she talked us through each step of the intricate process with patience and support. Kru Sai is an incredible cook. We finished the class by sitting down to a feast to taste our morning's hard work- and what a treat. I could not believe I had made it!"

"Kru Sai and Charlie are by far the most compassionate people I have met on my many visits to Thailand and I am still using the recipes I learnt on this course back in the UK (with a few ingredient substitutes of course). I will hold the memory of that day close to my heart for a long time- such special people and such a special home."

"If you are unsure whether this course is for you- stop thinking and book. You (and your stomach) will not regret it."

"We stayed in Charlie and Sai's accommodation on the top floor of their house. We were lucky enough to spend time with them in their garden learning about the vast array of edible plants that they grow and enjoying a very pleasant meal with them in the evening. "

"The accommodation is very large and clean with a comfortable bed and in a good location with easy access to the bridge and lake. We really enjoyed our time staying with two very warm and caring people."

"My family and I spent a wonderful day with Scenns and Charlie, learning about Thai cooking in their lovely home. While, neither my brother nor my husband is comfortable in the kitchen, Scenns made the day fun and enjoyable for all of us. We particularly enjoyed beginning the day purchasing items at the market, including learning about how coconut milk is made. At the end of our adventure, we enjoyed a wonderful meal and felt we had made new friends! If we ever get a chance to return to Sangkhlaburi, we would certainly return for another day of instruction and fun. This is a must do in Sangkhlaburi."

"Originally from Bangkok, Scenns has a warm, gentle manner, which, combined with her extensive knowledge and passion for natural and high quality ingredients, talent for whipping up an impressive repertoire of delicious Thai dishes. Teaching background and formal university training in Thai language and culture make her, without a doubt, Sangkhlaburis premier guru in Thai cooking, culture and language. As both a former language and cooking student, whether you're passing through for a short holiday or on a long-term stay, I highly recommend getting in touch with Scenns regarding her classes and lodging options. As her former language and cooking student I guarantee that spending a day with Scenns will leave your belly, brain and soul feeling nourished."

"I visited Sangkhlaburi for the second time in February 2014, and it was at this time that I met Scenns (K'Sai) and Charlie. This very lovely couple made my stay there very memorable, but what I really loved most was the Thai cooking class with Scenns. She knows very well how to teach. I don't how to cook, but I was able to follow her instructions and even remembered how to cook the dishes months later. The ingredients were freshly bought from the market and freshly picked from their garden. The taste of those dishes, especially the vermicelli one, really stuck with me for a long time. I love Thai food, and Scenns has showed us how much care goes into cooking each dish.Wish I can visit her again! Now, every time someone asks me about cooking lessons in Thailand, I always recommend Scenns. Its location in Sangkhlaburi makes it a perfect place to just relax and learn, not only about cooking, but also about Thai culture as well."

"Thank you to Miss Sai. We spent a great moment in an authentic place, where we had the chance to prepare certain Thai dishes and finally eat them. The cooking lessons are provided in a private house, which gives a touch of privacy and authenticity which are welcome."
