Wendy graduated with the first class of the California Culinary Academy of San Francisco and has held executive chef positions at prestigious world-class resorts. She has cooked with such celebrity chefs as Julia Child, Jacque Pepin, Roy Yamaguchi Paul Prudhomme, and Martha Stewart. She is affiliated with the Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs, Les Toques Blanches, International Food and Wine Society,the American Culinary Federation, and has been and officer and board member for several of them.

One of Big Sur’s most popular attractions, Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park offers inspiring landscapes of waterfalls, redwood groves, lush forests, and open meadows. Spend some time on one of the Big Sur hiking trails as they wind through oaks, conifers, sycamores, willows, and abundant wildlife.
With its 80-foot waterfall, redwood groves, and ideal spots for whale watching, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is a favorite of hikers and campers. The park is also popular with scuba divers.
The Carmel Wine Walk by-the-Sea is a self-paced, self-guided stroll to the tasting rooms which are all within a few blocks of each other on the both sides of Ocean Avenue.
The Golden Bough Playhouse, built on the site of the historic Arts and Crafts Clubhouse, is home to the Pacific Repertory Theater. PacRep and several other theatrical companies also perform at the Forest Theater, which celebrated its 100th birthday in 2010.
At the world-renowned aquarium, you can enjoy nearly 200 galleries and exhibits devoted to the diverse habitats of Monterey Bay.
