During this course, you will stay in a four-star hotel in double occupancy. Romatoget has a range of hotels to choose from, and all are located in the city center. They will send you the name of the hotel after your confirmation.
The tour starts in Fiumicino or Ciampino airport with a private transfer to the hotel. On your first day in Rome, you will have a free time to visit the city. The day after at 10.00 a.m., the driver will pick you up in hotel lobby. Tour can start for the original cooking class in Rome on board of Ape Calessino (tuk tuk) with a driver and a guided shopping experience in a real grocery market with Romatoget's English-speaking staff.
After the first stop in a grocery market, the tour continues in a restaurant where you'll arrive on board of Ape Calessino. Before cooking class, you can get a taste of wine with restaurant staff. The lesson takes place under the supervision of the chefs.
The restaurant itself has opened the doors of his inn in the city center of Rome since early 1900s, beginning a long history of over 100 years. In 1914, in the historical and traditional inn in the heart of Rome, from his ability to prepare simple meals and special tastes, and from the spectacular scene in serving it, with his thick and unmistakable mustache, born the myth of inimitable fettuccine.
Guests will be provided with a starter kit that includes wooden cutting board, flour, eggs and all ingredients needed for the preparation of food. In addition, the guests will be provided with apron, knife, gloves, chef’s hat and other tools needed to prepare the dishes.
The class method is a unique experience that guests will pleasantly remember. All the food prepared during the class will not be eaten, because it is only made for teaching purposes. At the end of the cooking class the guests will get a certificate of participation, souvenir pictures in digital format, which will be sent by e-mail, and a pack of specially selected fettuccine.
