Late afternoon take part in an interactive Cape Malay cooking experience with chef Martha Williams at The Cellars, learning the art of spice blending, followed by sampling your efforts over a wine-paired dinner.

Highlights include an olive oil tasting, strolling around gracious gardens and homestead of the country's premier wine estate, a chocolate and wine tasting, driving through Stellenbosch's architecturally interesting and oak-lined streets, lunch overlooking a sculpture-filled garden and a post prandial tasting at another contemporary winery before arriving in the country's gourmet capital.
Dinner is a wine-paired, multiple course dinner at The Tasting Room prepared by chef Margot Janse & her team at Le Quartier Franais where you'll be staying.
En-route to the coastal town of Hermanus you'll enjoy wine tastings and lunch with a view in the Hemel & Aarde valley and stay the night at The Marine perched on cliffs overlooking the bay, doubtless dining on seafood, since this is at your leisure.
Morning drive to this charming and un-spoilt town in the Little Karoo. Its hot on the map thanks to African Relish - a culinary school with interactive demos of old-style country cooking with modern twists. Meet the team over a light lunch before a tour of an olive press along with an olive oil tasting; an encounter with the towns favorite doctor-cum vegetable grower to pick some produce; a visit to a dairy for tasting of award-winning cheeses; a village ramble with a historian and story teller and a truly welcoming dinner.
You'll stay at one of a handpicked number of renovated cottages on a full board basis with drinks for your own account.

An optional morning walk up the famous Swartberg Pass or a leisurely breakfast precedes a visit to the morning market. A mid-morning cooking session introduces you to the South African culinary culture where hands do the talking, followed by lunch and an afternoon cooking session where you prepare some Karoo classics, with a contemporary twist. In lieu of tea, enjoy a wine tasting at the smallest registered wine estate in South Africa, and another at a local winery.
Over dinner, enjoy the fruits of the days culinary endeavors and the company of a master maker of a Serrano style ham.
