Guest rooms and suites are spacious, serene, and amenity-rich. Each has gorgeous views of the resort's gardens. Included in your stay are the newly renovated deluxe guestrooms, but upgrades are available on demand.
Deluxe guestrooms are newly renovated in a pleasing palette of elegant neutrals, mahogany veneers, and gold-leaf Spanish revival. They are located a short, beautiful walk from the main Pritikin campus. Each contains numerous luxurious amenities.
Resort Suites, also freshly renovated, feature all the amenities of deluxe guestrooms, plus a roomy parlor area (the perfect place to relax after a day of fitness and classes at Pritikin), an additional full bathroom, and a graceful, marble-floored entry foyer.

A hallmark of Pritikin is its strong medical presence. Upon arrival, six board-certified physicians will provide each guest with the expert medical attention required for achieving major life changes smoothly and successfully. Afterwards, the Pritikin exercise program will teach you a comprehensive approach involving cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, and stretching. Each element is designed to be safe, fun, and easy to follow when you return home. The gym will accommodate all levels of fitness, from Olympic athletes to people who have not exercised in years and want highly individualized attention.
The registered dietitians and chefs will teach classes on healthy, delicious eating in the real world. Physicians will demonstrate why healthy living is so important, and small-group workshops led by professional psychologists will help guests break through personal obstacles that hold them back from health and weight-loss success. Besides the standard activities, you will also have access to hands-on cooking classes that include preparation of soups, stocks, salads, dressings, fish/seafood and chicken, as well as a workshop and four-course dinner led and prepared by Pritikin's executive chef.
Pritikin's health resort is nestled in a private enclave, a gracious work of Italianate architecture, and is surrounded by 650 acres of tropical paradise in Florida, Miami.
From the first day you arrive, you discover that you’re enjoying a lot of great-tasting food, with five gourmet meals and snacks daily, succulent fruit, roasted lobster, and a bounty of savory, grilled vegetables, paella, grilled bison, stone crabs, wild mushroom risotto, and chocolate mousse. Hunger is never an issue. In fact, many of the guests say they’re eating more than they ever have, and they’re losing weight in the process.
The nearest airports are Miami International Airport (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL). Transfer from and to the airport is available upon request, provided you inform Pritikin at least 72 hours before your arrival. The fee from Miami International is 75 USD and from Fort Lauderdale is 105 USD.
