Seeing Martina Franca through Catherine and Brian's eyes was a delicious delight! We started in the market, meeting the vendors and tasting their wares. watched cheese being made and tasted the freshness! The best was our cooking class with the chef and his mom. gnocchi, polpette, braciola, and pizza, just to name a few of the great foods we feasted on. Then off to see more sights and a stop for great pastries and gelato. Finished the day seeing how local olive oil is made and having a little taste. Thank you Catherine and Brian for a magical day.

Pascarosa walk with aperitivo al fresco, followed by pizza in the piazza da Minchio (Pascarosa). This was one of the highlights of my 50th birthday celebrations. A group of 5 families of varying ages walked through the orchards and olive groves, were served the most delicious aperitivo al fresco of local produce before strolling back to the piazza for pizzas. It was very scenic, enjoyed by all and guided extremely well by David and Catherine. It was the second time we had done this and it was even better than the first time, so we'll no doubt be doing it again sometime. A most memorable evening was had by all our guests.
Fabulous day in Martina Franca. I brought my culinary tour to Martina Franca for a day with Catherine and Brian. I have been running programs in Italy since 1997, and know there is nothing like visiting a town with a local. We had a full day. It was market day and that was a great tour, learning about local produce. Then a cheese tasting and tour, fabulous pastry shop, a wonderful hands-on cooking class at a local restaurant, and they even brought in their mom's. Then we went to a wonderful olive oil tasting at a family olive oil mill which was state of the art. Thanks again.
