For the guided course option, you will need:

  • A portable device with a camera, audio, and broadband internet connection
  • Download and install the Zoom application

How the course works

This course has two options, as further elaborated below. Regardless of which program you choose, the online content is the same and you also have lifetime access to the course.

  • 1. The guided course

The guided course is available to start on the mentioned dates. This course includes weekly Zoom calls with the instructor and the other students. It has a more community feel, but has a time limit. You will work through the courses at a pace of one module per week, so students complete the course in 15 weeks.

The minimum number of participants required for the guided course is 5, and the maximum 18.

  • 2. The go-at-your-own-pace course

This option has unlimited availability but has no live sessions. The number of participants for this course is unlimited and has a revolving number of students. Sometimes there are 100 students enrolled, sometimes 30. You decide your pace, start and finish whenever you like.

Timing of sessions (PDT, GMT -7)

For the guided course, there will be 15 live Q& A sessions. Each will last for one hour, and will be held every week for 15 weeks.

These Online Plant-Based Nutrition Courses introduce you to a lifestyle that is for all those willing to step up and embrace life-long health. This comprehensive plant-based nutrition certification will guide you through everyday cooking skills and how to prepare delicious recipes, as well as dive deep into the holistic and nutritional benefits of the foods you eat.

The certificate is included in the price and you will receive it when you complete the online content. This certification course is approved by:

  • Raw Food Chef Alliance.

An international organization that certifies raw food schools and raw food chefs. Upon successful course completion, the graduate students will automatically be invited to join this alliance (one year free membership).

  • CAHNPRO (Canadian Association of Holistic Nutrition Professionals)

For upgrading hours and continuing education credit units.

  • CSNN (Canadian School of Natural Nutrition)

For graduates and current students to receive external practicum hours.

Pachavega Living Foods Education are based in Canada, thus the Canadian accreditation. However, The Raw Food Chef Alliance is an international recognization.

There are mini-quizzes at the end of each module, which helps with information retention. But there is no grand final exam. Your final course completion activity for Level One is to design a four-course menu for a global cuisine of your choice and then to make those recipes.

This course is held online. Pachavega Living Foods Education is based in Canmore, Canada (GMT -7). They will conduct their online classes through Pathwright school platform and / or Zoom, which you can participate from the comfort of your home by just using your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop.

Things to do (optional)

Level Two: Advanced Living Foods Chef Certificate

After completing this Level One course, you can continue by signing up for the Level Two course - Level Two: Advanced Living Foods Chef Certificate.

For those who have already completed Level One and want to continue, the Level Two course will be an additional 397 USD.

The final activity to complete in Level Two is to create a 5-day menu that will support a particular health condition. Level Two also offers to guide you in brainstorming and executing a plan to start your own successful holistic business, however, this final module is optional.
