During this holiday, you will stay during four nights in Nafplion and three nights in Mani at three or four-stars traditional Greek hotels.

Day 1: Athens - Nafplion

During this day, you will depart from Athens. On your way, you will reach the Corinth Canal and enter the region of Argolis, the land of Homer’s Golden Mycenae and a United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization World Heritage site. Dating back to the second century Before Christ, Mycenae was one of the major centers of Greek civilization and a military stronghold that dominated a big part of southern Greece.

In this place, you will visit the archaeological site, which is home to the kingdom of the mythical Agamemnon. Also, you will see the Cyclopean Walls, the Lion’s Gate, the Royal Tombs, including Agamemnon Clytemnestra’s, and the Treasury of Atreus, a magnificent structure that dates back to the fourteenth century before Christ.

Afterwards, you will have an optional lunch at a nearby restaurant in Argos and a visit to Nauplia, the first capital of modern Greece. In here, you will get to know the Venetian fortress of Palamidi and the fortified islet of Bourtzi. The rest of the day will be free at leisure to enjoy a walk in center of Nafplio.

Day 2: Ouzo and beekeeping tour

After breakfast in your hotel, you will depart to a culinary excursion that will teach you about the secrets of beekeeping and ouzo production. You will visit a local distillery and the enchanting world of the unique Greek ouzo and Tsipouro, learn all about the history and production, and make a small journey back to history by admiring the distillery museum.

Later, you will take a walk through some olive and orange groves for fifteen minutes and then you will get ready for a visit to a traditional honey production unit, where its owner, a beekeeper, will show you how the beehives are maintained and harvested.

Day 3: Wine tour

After breakfast, you will depart for a daily trip to the endless vineyards of Nemea, the place where Hercules killed the lion and performed the first of his 12 labors. In here, you will also learn the secrets of wine and winemaking. Later, you will visit the archaeological site of Nemea, its stadium, a regional winery, and a traditional vinegar production unit.

In these places, you will taste unique varieties of wine, accompanied by Greek dishes. You will also meet the wine producers, who will tell you everything you need to know about winemaking. In the evening, you will return back to your hotel to rest and get ready for the next day.

Day 4: Food tour and cooking class

After savoring a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will depart for a food tour in Nafplio. During this day, you will visit some carefully selected food shops to taste some of the finest cheese, wine, and local products available in the city. You will also visit the city's most famous monuments for you to get a complete panorama of its local food scene and culture.

Afterwards, you will receive your cooking class with an experienced local chef who will be your Greek gastronomy mentor. During this lesson, you will learn about the use of vegetables and local products to make amazing Mediterranean recipes. Dinner will follow this activity and you will get to taste your delicious creations.

Day 5: Nafplion - Mani

After breakfast, you will depart to cross the Peloponnese towards the South to reach Mani, a wild and fascinating area of tribal feuding, rugged land, towers, and fortresses, which covers the Central Greek Peninsula. After your arrival, you will have time to relax in your hotel. During the evening, you will walk with the group through the Areopolis stone alleys.

Day 6: Hiking in Taygetos

On this day, you will have breakfast and depart for a hiking session at one of the most scenic areas in Greece, Taygetos, a mountain ridge of one hundred kilometers that separates Messinia from Sparta. Large gorges and canyons present a succession of habitats with a wide variety of endemic flora and fauna.

Your route will be from the mountaineering refuge to Prophet Elias, the highest peak of Taygetos and the Peloponnese. In this place, you will have a breathtaking view from the top. After this amazing hiking trip, you will have lunch in a local restaurant and will return to your hotel in the evening.

Day 7: Day at the beach

During this day, you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to sunbathe at the beach and have lunch in one of the most amazing seafood taverns right on the seaside.

Day 8: Mani - Athens

Today, you will enjoy breakfast and get ready for your departure to Athens.
