During this retreat, you'll be staying in a traditional, rustic Canarian house where the traditional atmosphere meets modern convenience. The bedrooms are spread over two levels. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and you can choose between a shared twin or single room with shared bathroom as well as a double or single en suite. This is a boutique retreat and the maximum number of participants is six to ensure quality and personalized service.

  • Day 3: Morning walk and yoga at the dunes + picnic, free time, optional dinner out

  • Day 6: Sunrise volcano hike + meditation, picnic, free time, afternoon yoga, cooking workshop + dinner and movie night

What to bring

Please bring comfortable clothes for yoga, summer clothes, a hoodie and long trousers for the evening, walking shoes, and sunscreen.

Trained as a traditional Hatha yoga teacher, Nina’s yoga teaching journey led her from Switzerland and Germany to Fuerteventura. Being a surf teacher herself, she loves teaching surfers and approaches every group differently depending on their needs, sometimes taking it slow with restorative practices, sometimes practicing more dynamic flow yoga, or yoga Nidra to calm down and reconnect whilst relaxing to a meditative state.

Tjasa has been practicing and studying the teachings of yoga for over two decades. She has trained in dynamic Vinyasa, Hatha, and more recently, Yin yoga. For her, yoga is a way of connecting to the divine, finding stillness, staying in the present, and feeling grounded and balanced. She holds a certificate in plant-based nutrition through e-Cornell and believes that yoga combined with plant based lifestyle leads to vibrant health, wellness and compassion on the planet.


This retreat will take place in the village of Lajares, 15 minutes drive from the beaches of El Cotillo and Corralejo. Lajares is a charming little village surrounded by the most amazing volcanic landscape. Its Saturday arts and crafts market, supermarket, and numerous cafes and restaurants are within walking distance from the house. You will practice yoga on the nearby beaches of Corralejo and/or El Cotillo.

Nutritious Yoga will prepare hearty and nourishing vegan meals - all conscientiously designed and locally sourced (when possible). The kitchen is inspired by world cuisine from Indian, Spanish, to Moroccan. Nutritious Yoga loves creamy curries, roasted sweet potatoes, heaps of fresh and colorful salads, quinoa tabboulehs, avocados, and chickpeas in every form.

To end meals on a sweet note, be prepared for tantalizing raw vegan desserts. The breakfasts include fresh fruits, oatmeal, vibrant smoothies, pastries, preserves, and herbal teas. In both of the vegan cooking workshops, you will also learn how to prepare these nutritious and delicious meals yourself.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Fuerteventura Airport (FUE).

Arrival by taxi

A taxi will cost approximately 60 EUR from the airport to the village of Lajares.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 14% of the total price.
  • The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled up to 30 days before the arrival date.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
