  • Review by a traveler from Brisbane, Australia

"Beautiful owners, amazing view from the top of Ninderry Mountain, and superb food. Iki and Myuki are great hosts and they cater for all your needs. Great attention to detail and a wonderful cooked breakfast, refreshing squeezed juice (decorated with with flowers), and fantastic massage as an optional extra. I have visited several times and always enjoyed. Last time we combined with a cooking school at the Spirit House which can be booked as a package with your accommodation. I very highly recommend it and will be returning."

"After the beautiful drive up the Ranges, I had no idea where my husband was taking me for my surprise 70th birthday outing. How glorious to arrive at the beautiful Ninderry Manor Luxury Retreat! We were very warmly welcomed by Miyuki and Aki, Felt like we had known them before!! So hospitable and they made us feel very much at home.We had beautiful cocktails and canaps before going to the Spirit House for the evening meal. Knowing how good Aki's cooking is if we stayed again we would have him cook for us. How nice to have your resident personal chef!! Thank you Miyuki and Aki for a delightful stay! Highly recommended!"

"Amazing location with spectacular views and garden! 10 minutes to Eumundi, 15 minutes to closest beach (Coolum), yet completely away from it all in the mountains. Amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely rooms. Immaculately clean, inviting, and nice extra touches. Breakfast was delicious. Help yourself to fruits, tea, coffee and cookies. Plenty of space to either relax on your own or congregate with others. Lovely living room with library, TV, DVD, fire place. Will return for sure and try out the pool!"

"Beautiful setting, comfortable room, nice amenities, wonderful people! We got to the B&B and it was so great that we did not leave until check-out time other than to go into the garden to look at the beautiful sky filled with stars. We had arranged beforehand to have massages and dinner. The massages were a combination deep pressure, shiatsu and reiki using essential oils. I was totally blissed out. It was great to just float a few meters to our room.We chose to have the traditional Japanese dinner rather than a European dinner which turned out to be four courses, each one delicious. I am a vegetarian and they made the appropriate modifications for me which still serving my wife seafood. The breakfast was three courses, bountiful and delicious. To sum up the meals in one word, splendid! The hosts, Miyuki and Aki, are absolutely delightful and made us feel like friends more than paying guests. We do not like close so a return trip is not easy but we will still make an effort to come back."

"What a lovely weekend with two very charming, hardworking and hospitable hosts. Miyuki and Aki are delightful. The service and attention to detail was all attended to with a willing smile.I did the calligraphy class and had a one hour massage. Aki's French three course dinner was a treat. All I can say is that this was exactly what I needed... a little cozy retreat in lovely surroundings with two very kind hosts. I highly recommended."
