"Cooking in Agerola"

Gabriella was very welcoming and open to what we wanted to learn. The site was amazing and the experiences provided were beyond expectation. I had never been to Italy before and Gabriella and her son provided a lot of explanations, descriptions which enhanced our time there. I came home with some great recipes and wonderful memories.

You are treated like family. Gabriella is so sweet, generous and an amazing cook. Food was outstanding. Her Son Salvatore was an awesome tour guide and did everything to accommodate what we were interested in. Also, showed us the gems we would not have found on our own.

"One of the best holidays I have ever had!"

The most positive was Gabriella Acampora, she was an outstanding instructor and wonderful hostess. Gabriella tried to address every need of her guest. I like fresh orange juice and she made sure it was there for me in the morning. I mentioned that my favorite Italian dish was osso buco, so she added that to the menu (which required a special delivery from the butcher). This was a wonderful vacation because along with all the beautiful sights I actually learned something. I'm not sure I will ever be a great chef but thanks to Gabriella I will be a pretty good cook.

"Our best vacation by far!!"

Gabriella, Salvatore, Maria and Fredricko were an awesome team! Gabriella makes you feel right at home on the first day! She really makes the cooking class alot of fun and very rewarding!!

The magnificent views of the Amalfi coast from Gabriella's verandas are absolutely breathtaking! You can't describe it in words. You must see it to believe it!

Salvatore is absolutely an incredible host as well, taking us to very many beautiful places. You can't help but love this family! We will miss them alot.

"A home from home in the sun with stunning views "

From the beginning the emails to and fro with Gabriella were very good. This is a lovely family run business with her son helping out and her husband too. The trio are such a delight and give the warmest of welcomes that you feel they are your family. The collection and drop to the airport is included which is essential as the location is about an hour from the airport and up in the mountains(which is stunning) There is a bus which goes to amalfi and the bus stop is a very short walk from the house(5mins)

From Amalfi you can take connecting buses or boats to your next location like sorrento or positano.

On arriving we were shown our room and offered something to eat. The rooms are delightful with en suite and ours had a balcony overlooking the garden and sea views. They have their own veg garden too!!

Gabriella is extremely accommodating and will tailor your stay and excursions to suit you.

The culinary part where you learn to cook is excellent and the food is so fresh and amazing. Gabriella is a hands on instructor so you will remember what you have learnt. Once you learn to make fresh pasta you will never buy it again!

The breakfast provided in the morning is a basic cold continental with a range of juices. (A suggestion It would be nice to have a cooked option maybe an omelette or eggs of some kind and oranges and a squeeze so guest could have the option of a fresh juice) The local ricotta and breads from the local bakery with fresh fruit became my choice and yum.

"Full immersion in the local experience "

I was looking for a last minute escape as a single traveler and found this lovely 4-day program.

Although I was the only person who signed up for it, Gabriella and her family went out of their way to make my stay entertaining and memorable.

Being taken out by the family members, I had the most amazing local experience that I would never have gotten with any other tour provider.

Gabriella gathered two groups to join me on my two cooking days, and it was so much fun and social to learn how to cook together. She even drove me to a local store on my last night when it was raining hard to get a liquor that I liked, and rang out the owner because the store was officially already closed.

The family gave me wonderful local pasta to take home as a last surprise.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and warmly recommend the program to anyone who appreciates the full local immersion with a warm and welcoming Italian family.
