You will be welcomed to Luang Prabang International Airport (LPQ) by your guide. The heart and soul of the ancient kingdom of Laos, Luang Prabang, is now a designated World Heritage-listed site. The city is filled with ornate temples, French colonial architecture, and has a truly magical feel about it. You will visit major sites including the National Museum, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Mai, and Wat Xieng Thong.
You will then climb up to the top of Phousi Mountain for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa, as well as see a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, you will go to explore the night market, where you can find lovely crafts and handmade textiles sold by local and hill tribe people from the surrounding area. You will have lunch at a local restaurant. Dinner will be on your own and overnight will be in Luang Prabang.
For breakfast, you will enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai, Wat Sene, and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple. You will then board a boat embarking upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives you a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes.
Then, you will have lunch at a local restaurant. Along the way, you will stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, you overland local villages at Ban Xiengmene and Ban Chan continue seeing the royal temple at Wat Longkhoun, which once belongs to royal family patronage and nearby Sackarine Caves. You will cross to the city and take a short drive to Ban Phanom, well known for its hand weaving. You will have dinner on your own and overnight will be in a hotel in Luang Prabang.
You will have breakfast and transfer to the airport for Hanoi. Arrive at Hanoi and welcomed by the guide then transfer to the hotel. Free time in Hanoi old quarter. Meals will be on your own, then overnight will be in a hotel in Hanoi.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will spend your day taking a tour around the capital and visiting such sites as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside), a large memorial in Hanoi, located in the center of Ba Dinh Square, which is the place where Vietminh leader Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945. His former residence, stilt house of Ho Chi Minh, is the founder of modern Vietnam, fondly known as “Uncle Ho”. One Pillar Pagoda, the emperor Lý Thái Tông constructed the temple in gratitude for this in 1049 by erecting a pillar in the middle of a lotus pond, similar to the one he saw in the dream that he met the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, who handed him a baby son while seated on a lotus flower. The Temple of Literature is Vietnam's first national university.
You will then have lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to the Museum of Ethnology, which focuses on the 54 officially recognized ethnic groups in Vietnam. Then, you will discover Hoan Kiem Lake, meaning "lake of the returned sword", where Emperor Lê Lợi was boating on the lake when his magic sword, Heaven's Will, was grabbed by a turtle who quickly disappeared into the depths. Ngoc Son Temple, being built on the Jade Islet and dedicated to Confucian and Taoist philosophers and the national hero, Trần Hưng Đạo and enjoy a rickshaw tour in the Ancient Quarter with its antique shops. You will have dinner on your own and overnight will be in Hanoi.
After breakfast in the hotel, you will be transferred to Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) for a short flight to Da Nang located in the center of Vietnam. Guests are welcomed by guides when arriving in Da Nang and transferred directly to the Cham Museum. The luggage is taken care of by porters and delivered separately to the hotel. After visiting the Cham Museum, which contains the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world, you will be transferred to the charming historic town and the former trading port of Hoi An. Lunch is served in a typical local restaurant, Tam Tam restaurant. In the afternoon, you will have a walking tour around Hoi An ancient town and explore its treasures: The Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, and PhungHung Old Merchant House. Then, you will have dinner on your own and overnight will be in Hoi An.
After breakfast in the hotel, you will have free time until the transfer by air-conditioned coach over the spectacular Pass of Ocean Clouds to Hue. Hue is the former imperial capital of Vietnam from which the Nguyen Dynasty of emperors ruled from 1802 till 1945. After that, you will have lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Imperial Citadel, City of the Nguyen Dynasty (1804-1945), visit some of the most highly revered site in this World Heritage area; The Flag Tower, South Door, Edict Pavilion, Supreme Harmony Palace, and the Forbidden Purple City. Then, you will have dinner on your own and overnight will be in Hue.
After breakfast and pick up at your hotel, you will take a boat for a cruise on the gentle Huong River. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda, built in 1601 on the order of the first Nguyen lords, Nguyen Hoang, who at that time was the governor of Hue. Continue to a quiet Thuy Bieu Village - 6.5 kilometers from the city center - a laidback village famous for growing the Thanh Tra fruit (a kind of small pomelo), visit many garden houses, a unique feature of Hue countryside, and enjoy a nice walking and biking around the village. After that, you will visit an old communal house, pass by several ancient ancestral temples, and communicate with local people.
Visit an incense making family and discover the daily life of local people while they are working strenuously with joy and enthusiasm. You may also join their activities: gardening, talking and drinking tea with them. Back to Thuy Bieu restaurant, relax by steeping your foot in medicinal herb water, a traditional therapeutic practice and enjoy an excellent massage by blind people. Then, you will have lunch at Thuy Bieu restaurant. In the afternoon, you will discover the Emperor Minh Mang’s tomb, ponds and gardens is known for its perfect harmony between architecture and its natural environment. It began to be built during his reign (1820 - 1841) and was completed only in 1843, two years after his death by his successor Thieu Tri. You will have dinner on your own and overnight will be in Hue.
After breakfast, transfer to Phu Bai International Airport (HUI) for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy a tour to Cho Lon and stop at Binh Tay Market and a lacquer ware factory, and have lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour in the Old Colonial Residential Quarter and discover the old Hotel de Ville, the Opera House, Notre-Dame Cathedral built in the 19th century, the dazzling French-style post office and the Reunification Palace (outside). You will end the day with a free walk around your hotel. Then, have dinner on your own and overnight will be in Saigon.
You will have breakfast at your hotel, and go to the airport for flight to Siem Reap. You will arrive at Siem Reap International Airport (REP) and be transferred to hotel for check-in. The Siem Reap Orientation will visit the local main shrine of Preah Ang Chheck / Chhom temple and drive to the southern party of Siem Reap to embark on a short cruise on Tonle Sap Lake, Cambodia’s biggest natural water body. The experience is wonderful as you will pass by floating village, friendly children in small boats and fishermen at work. Meals are on your own and overnight will be in the hotel in Siem Reap.
Early morning, you will visit the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever, and continue to visit the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat - one of the world’s most impressive ruins. The temple still owns fine Apsara carvings in Angkorian era art. At 09:00, you will come back to the hotel for breakfast and rest in the noon to avoid of the heats of the day until 15:00, continue exploring the mysterious royal city, Angkor Thom. The City and Bayon have 54-tower temple, and it is an awesome sight.
At the first glance, it seems a shapeless mass of stone, but further scrutiny reveals a face, and then another and another until suddenly you are engulfed by the silent, heavy, enigmatic, and silent gaze through half-closed eyes, staring out from a primitive and remote time. Furthermore, you will visit the surroundings of the complex including the Baphou, Elephant Terraces, Lepper King Terrace, and Royal Place area, and visit one more ruin in Angkor Area of Preah Khan temple, built in 12th century by King Jayavarman VII and it is the same style to Ta Prom Temple. You will have lunch at a local family house, dinner will be on your own, and overnight will be in the hotel in Siem Reap.
Get up in the early morning, ride Tuk-Tuk to visit sunrise in front of Angkor Wat temple and then come back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, you with your vehicle will continue to visit South Gate of Angkor Thom City and then exploring the mysterious Royal City Angkor Thom. Bayon, its 50-tower temple is an awesome sight. You will board a local boat and cruise the waterways observing the authentic and diverse lifestyle of the local floating community. Admire the simple, yet fascinating lifestyle and interact with your host to learn more about living on the water. The experience is wonderful as you pass by floating village, stilt houses, flooded forest, and fishermen at work. Then, come back to visit Artisans D’Angkor and Old Market before transfer to airport to catch your flight departure back your country. End of services.
