If you haven’t already done so, start making the most out of your food dehydrator. This is because when you have a good supply of dehydrated and soaked nuts, vegetable chips, crackers, cookies, and other dehydrated things on hand, it becomes much easier for you to prepare various delicious raw meals. Not only can you create raw meals using these ingredients, you can also enjoy them on its own as healthy alternatives to junk food

 

Keep it Simple

Live, organic plant foods are packed with valuable nutrients and contain all their own enzymes to break themselves down, providing more energy with less digestive effort. So, even though they may not be perceived as a full meal to some, having fruits and veggies as is (bananas, cucumber, bell peppers, etc), as long as they are consumed in large enough quantities will not only keep you full, you’ll also be able to reap all the nutrients it offers.

That said, combining several fruits and veggies to create a more creative yet delicious uncooked dishes such as wraps, slaws, and guacamole, is a great way to add excitement to your daily dietary menu. 

Last but not least, you also have the option of blending raw ingredients to make various healthy smoothies. Simply blend some water, fruits, and greens vegetables and you’ve got a fresh and nutrient-packed meal to go!

When you’re at the transition stage into the raw food diet, it can be tempting to stick to the same foods or dishes because they are safe and ‘comfortable’. But, if you want to ensure that you’ll stick with raw cuisine in the long run, I highly suggest that you step out of your comfort zone and try new flavors.
