Every lady appreciates a Cosmo and this version is really tasty. For 6 Cosmopolitans you need: 16 oz vodka, 8 oz orange liqueur, 8 oz pomegranate juice, ½ cup freshly squeezed limes, and some lime peel strips for garnish. In a pitcher combine the vodka, liqueur and juice. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and poor the mixture on top. Shake for 30 seconds. Pour into martini glasses, garnish, and serve.


Vanilla Cranberry Mimosa

If you are looking for a very easy-to-make cocktail, which combines two great flavors – vanilla and cranberry – you just hit the jackpot. To make it, start by refrigerating all the ingredients: vanilla flavored vodka, cranberry juice, and sparkling wine. For garnish you can use vanilla pods and fresh cranberries.

In a cocktail shaker, mix all the ingredients, shake vigorously, and strain into a champagne flute. Garnish and serve.


Light French Kiss Cocktail

This sexy cocktail is also very versatile. You need champagne or sparkling wine, raspberries or your favorite berries, mint leaves, half a lemon, and vodka. You may also include raw honey and chambord liquor.

Start by putting some berries at the bottom of the glasses and add couple of mint leaves to each. Muddle them but leave the berries somewhat whole. Fill the glass with sparkling wine. Add a dash of vodka and a dash of lemon juice. You can also add a bit of honey and liquor and you’re good to go!


Two Ingredients Apple Cider Mimosas

It cannot get easier than this. All you need is apple cider and champagne (or sparkling wine). If you want to give it a fancier touch, you can rim the glasses with some brown sugar and garnish with apple slices.

If you want , you can use an apple slice to dampen the glasses and then dip the rim into brown sugar. Pour the apple cider in the glasses, followed by the champagne. Serve immediately.


Sparkling Peach Sangria

This is a great recipe to make ahead. You need 3 cups of sliced peaches, 2 cups raspberries, 750 ml red wine (of your choice), 1 cup simple sugar syrup, 1 cup peach schnapps, and 1 bottle of champagne (or sparkling wine). Start by adding the fruit in the pitcher, then pour the wine, syrup, and schnapps. Stir and then allow to sit for about an hour (or, ideally, over night). To serve, pour equal amounts of the sangria mixture and sparkling wine in the glass.


Cranberry Screwdriver

To make this cocktail, you need 2 oz cranberry vodka (per serving) and 4 oz freshly squeezed orange juice (per serving). Make sure to have some Grand Mariner hand, too (you only need a splash). Combine all the ingredients in a glass, over ice, and you are done.


Mango Mojito

You can argue that the mojito is a summer drink but we have an excuse! New Year’s falls during summer in the Southern Hemisphere. To make the mango mojito in a pitcher, you need a bunch of mint leaves, ½ cup of mango infused rum, 1 cup simply syrup, 1 ½ cups lime juice, 4 cups club soda, 2 limes sliced and, option, a frozen mango. First, add the mint leaves and a slice of lime, followed by the syrup. Muddle them and then add rum, lemon juice, and club soda. Finish with ice and the frozen lemon.


Champagne Shirley Temple

To make this twist of the classic Shirley Temple, you need 8 oz of champagne (or sparkling wine) per serving, a splash of grenadine, and for garnish some maraschino cherries and an orange slice per serving. Fill the glass half way with crushed ice, pour the champagne, and add the grenadine. Garnish and serve with a straw.


Skinny Champagne Margaritas

Alcohol mixes tend to have quite a high calorie count but that’s not the case with these margaritas. For each serving you need: 4 oz fresh lime juice, 3 oz agave silver tequila, 2 teaspoons agave syrup, 4 oz champagne (or sparkling wine). Garnish with lemon wedges. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice and add the juice, tequila, and syrup. Shake to mix well and pour in glasses. Top with champagne, garnish and enjoy!


Champagne Limoncello Cocktail

A taste of Italy in a glass. For this cocktail, you need 8 lemon rinds, 8 tablespoons of limoncello, 4 teaspoons of fresh lemon juice, and a bottle (750ml) of champagne (or sparkling wine). Roll the lemon rind and put it at the bottom of the flute. Add the liqueur and ½ teaspoon of juice in each glass, then add the champagne. Serve immediately.
