How to Make Carrot Juice


Carrot juice is very easy to prepare and there are various ways to do so. Here, I’ll be sharing recipes that you can use to make carrot juice with the use of a blender or a juicer. Moreover, you can always add other healthy ingredients while keeping carrot as your main ingredient.

Prepare five carrots, and wash them properly in running water to remove dirt and pesticides. If you want to clean them thoroughly, you can use a brush to scrub the skin. After that, you remove the head part and peel them accordingly. If your carrots are homegrown or grown organically, you can simply wash them.

After the carrots have been washed. cut them in manageable sizes so as not to cause damage to your blender or food processor. You can cut your carrot in one or two-inch pieces. After you cut them, it’s time to place them in the blender or food processor. Then, you add a small amount of water to make a purée and set this aside. Take 1 cup of water and boil it, and place it in a glass. Add the puree to the boiled water and stir in one direction.

After you stir the puree mixture, leave it for 15-20 minutes to allow your carrot puree to boost its nutrients.

Strain the puree by using a hand strainer, and press it with a spoon to extract the juice. The final step is to serve the carrot juice with ice immediate to enjoy the live enzymes. To give your carrot juice a twist of flavor, add an orange juice, and top it with a couple of mint leaves. Buon appetito!

First, take 5 to 6 pieces of carrots and thoroughly wash them in clean water to remove dirt and pesticides. For organic carrot, you there’s no worry with chemicals, so you may just rinse them. Remove the head part of the carrot, and peel the carrots. If they are organic or homegrown, you can just remove the outer skin.

Unlike using the blender, using the juicer is easier and takes only 10 minutes to prepare the carrot juice. This is because you don’t have to cut the carrot into portions. Put the whole carrots into the juicer and wait until the carrots are fully mashed.  After the carrot has been mashed, collect the juice of your carrot in a glass, and it’s now ready to be served. As I shared before, freshly made carrot juice offers plenty of essential nutrition.



Adding Other Ingredients to Your Carrot Juice


Carrot Juice with Lemon and Ginger




This recipe doubles the antioxidants and nutritional value of your carrot juice. Aside from the easy and minimal time preparation, the ingredients are very common and thus, easy to find. For this particular recipe, I would recommend that you use a juicer.


What you’ll need:

  • 5 Carrots
  • 1-inch ginger
  • 1 Lemon


How to prepare: 

  • Wash the carrots in clean and running water so as to remove chemicals. Note that it’s always better to buy organic carrots or those that are just homegrown to avoid chemicals.
  • After washing, remove the head part of the carrots, and peel them.
  • Wash the lemon and ginger and cut them to pieces.
  • Place the carrots in the juicer and collect the juice in a glass.
  • After you have collected the carrot juice, add the ginger and the lemon.

To maximize the nutrients in the carrot juice, it is always recommended to drink the juice immediately. Enjoy!


Carrot Juice with Celery


This particular recipe takes only about 10 minutes to prepare using two ingredients: five carrots, and two celery stalks.

First, wash the carrots in running water, as well as the celery stalks. Put the carrots into the juicer and place the juice in a container. Next, place the celery in the juicer and add it to the carrot juice. Mix thoroughly and serve.
