Join our cooking workshop and learn rustic country cooking. Tour around Nami Namaste. You can get familiar with all the stages of cooking, and a visit to our herb garden is like a journey to the valley of smells and senses. Together with other participants you will prepare different dishes - made of best possible ingredients. Most of them are local produce. And to spice it up we do have some exotic species to use, but our emphasis is always on rustic country cooking. Paper thin pizzas and other tempting delicacies can be produced in the purpose built pizza oven. Best of all is to participate and enjoy it all the good things in life.
Namaste is not a 5-star resort but he rooms are very comfortable. One sleeps between fresh linen sheets and a down quilt. Every room has electricity and wall sockets, no TVs or radio. Free WiFi is available.
The two small cottages are located on the further side of the meadow and they sleep 2 plus 1 persons each. Old fashioned washing facilities al fresco and theres also an outhouse, but all the facilities in the main building are at guests disposal, too.
The hut sleeps 4-6 persons. The attic (room 2) also fits 4-6 persons. The bathroom in the main building is at guests disposal.
Two cozy rooms for two persons each with toilet and shower in the corridor. These rooms are in the same building as the workshop kitchen and dining room with the fireplace.
The so-called presidential suite is located in the attic with a private terrace. This beautiful space is ideal for two, but it can be transformed for up to 10 persons. It has ensuite bathroom.
Our hearty and generous breakfast is served on the terrace or inside with a cozy open fire, depending on the weather. Lunch and dinner is enjoyed around one big communal table. The sitting room, with a cozy fireplace and library, is located in the main building.
Under the apple trees is the hot bath barrel. It is big enough to accommodate 8 persons. Youll have pure enjoyment under the moon and the stars or a warm summer drizzle. You can sit and contemplate by the herb garden, read a book or take a nap in the hammock. What used to be a smithy is now a wood-burning sauna and the old root cellar is turned into a neat little wine cellar.
We have two gardens, one kitchen garden and one small but flourishing herb garden. These two provide us with a great amount of delicacies and herbs that end up on the plates at Namaste. The untouched nature of Muhu also provides us with dozens of wild plats and berries.
The kitchen garden provides us with organic vegetables, string beans, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots and other edible roots in a beautiful environment. This a perfect place to relax and enjoy. The herb garden provides us with all the herbs we need for the cooking.
At Namaste we offer hands on cooking classes. Get familiar with all the stages of cooking under guidance of our inspiring chef! We use the best seasonal ingredients, many from our own garden. Together with other participants you will prepare different dishes made of the best possible ingredients. If the group consists of more than 12 participants, it will be divided into two. A paper-thin pizza made by you and other tempting delicacies can be produced in the purpose-built pizza oven. If you want to focus on wine or enjoy a game of Boule, feel free to do so.

"This is a great place to just be and enjoy food or, as we did, take a cooking course. Every meal is three course and the food is excellent. Sikke, the owner of Nami Namaste, makes always desserts and Albert makes other courses. All guests sit and dine in the same table so you get to know a bit of them as well. The feeling is the thing. Just go and experience it. Once you go there, you'll want to come back again."

"I have never heard of Nami Namaste before my friends, for my 40th birthday, presented me with a gift voucher to spend a night and enjoy a cooking class there together with my husband. But I got to understand that Nami Namaste is a place that they all felt I needed, as a contrast to my routined life filled with to-do's and work. I was a bit skeptic when reading that the rooms do not have showers and only one room has its own toilet. As a Finn, I am quite used to rustic amenities, so I quickly got over that "hesitation". My husband and I decided to spend a whole weekend in Muhu, given that it takes a good part of the day to get there from Helsinki. The drive from Tallinn to Virtsu went quickly and the road was in a better condition that many roads in Finland. It took as a while, without WIFI, to find Nami Namaste, but once found we immediately got immersed into a sense of forest magic. We were greeted by Sikke (owner and keeper) and Heidi and immediately felt welcome. We got the room with the toilet, luckily since my Dutch/Peruvian husband is not so keen on going out in the middle of the night. Although we had not ordered any lunch, the chef Albert fixed us two plates with some food since we had not eaten all day. We relaxed immediately, bottles of wine, helped of course, good Portuguese red wine. Two other guests also resided at Nami Namaste this weekend. Together with them we had dinner both on Friday and Saturday and the phenomenal cooking class with Albert also took place in their company. Even tough it was interesting to meet new people, this was the only thing I would perhaps like to do different next time. Either to go with a group of friends or then to do a cooking class with just the two of us. Breakfasts at Nami Namaste are wonderful, a good variety of healthy and good stuff. Cozy atmosphere. I enjoyed the best manicure and pedicure by a "called-in" beautician in their super cozy living room, it was rainy day and a perfect day to spend doing absolutely nothing. I would love to go back in the autumn with a group of friends, its one of those places that you go to and you just enjoy the place and each other. Of course, there are things to do in the surroundings if you want to, but you can also feel totally ok with doing absolutely nothing but enjoy and rest. Its worth a visit! P.S. Our room did not have a TV (which was fine, we did not go for the TV) and the Wi-Fi was quite bad except for a few places (which was also fine, since its good to detox every now and then)."

"Nami Namaste was just my thing. Being a designer, I was especially enjoying the cozy atmosphere of the houses, kitchen, and sleeping hamlets. Food was as fresh as it gets and wine was just right. The lady of the house was beautiful. I would like to give a hint for boaters. There is small harbor 400 meters away. Take yourself there and enjoy the afternoon."

"We stayed two nights and participated a culinary workshop. Together with other guests and the master chef, we prepared a 5 course meal and had a wonderful dinner. The place is beautiful and homely, and the personnel is very friendly. The rooms are quite far from standard, but in a positive way, if You don't mind sharing the bathroom. Altogether, a unique Estonian countryside experience."
