"This was not only a great tour for tea lovers, but it was a great opportunity to get out of Taipei and see a little of the local countryside. Our guide, Billy, and driver, Shane, were great hosts. Everything in the tour was just as promised and we learned a little about the country as we drove between locations. We visited a few tea plantations, sampled a number of different teas and learned about the growing and processing of the tea. Although the weather was a bit rainy, we still had some great views and I know it would be even better on a sunny day. "

"Had a blast ! Tour was everything they advertised and more. On time pickup from our hotel. Our guide, Salome, was most enjoyable, efficient, knowledgeable, and always provided the extra moments for photos, questions, distractions to keep all in group updated and on schedule. Covered lots of territory in day long tour around Taipei with mid-day stop at Taipei 101 for lunch. Highly recommend My Taiwan Tour for any adventures that fit your schedule and budget."

"This was a highly individualized one-week tour of the east coast, the north, and a bit of Taipei. The email based compilation, by Anke, was handled very well, especially since we could not always reply in time. Our guide, Kelly, was very good in sensing where we were coming from and accommodated our ideas of vacation and took care of special needs, like need of gluten free food, in a fantastic manner. She came up with great mix of high class and nice local restaurants. Her pick of places, such as the night market and the Lantern Park, and her handling of the kids was excellent. "

"She was very knowledgeable and helped us understand history and culture of Taiwan, being very consistent of what I heard and observed from Taiwanese colleagues I interact with once in a while. She knew that we did not only want to see nice sights but also made sure we could bike and hike enough in nice fresh air. She was very good in intercultural skills and had a great sense of humor. She was a great ambassador of Taiwan with a bit of craziness that charmed us all. The driver, Sam, was very reliable and made us feel to be in good hands. These were wonderful vacations with great memories, thank you Kelly, Sam, and My Taiwan Tour!"

"Many friends have asked me about my family's recent tour to Taiwan, where we personalized our itinerary with the inbound operator. The company we used is My Taiwan Tour, and I will highly recommend it. The service we got from Anke Wang throughout the planning was excellent, and our tour guide Fiona Chuang was very patient and fun to be with. My family is extremely demanding and critical for their travels, as we have traveled extensively, and I must say that the experience in Taiwan was a fabulous one."

"We spent 9 fabulous days traveling around Taiwan with a tour arranged by My Taiwan Tour travel service. Jane Chao, our travel guide, was terrific in making sure our trip was enjoyable. The trip gave us a sense of Taiwan's tremendous cultural diversity and geological beauty. We particularly enjoyed the 5-star hotel and hike in Taroko National Park."

"My family and I made a request on round island tour in the beginning of May for eight days. We took 8-seater van and the car was comfortable with excellent driver, Steve. Plus, our tour guide, Michael was knowledgable on food, culture, and great scenaries. I remember when I asked Michael we would like to try seafood for lunch. He immediately thought of something and provide varieties of choices for us to decide. Furthermore, they provide one of exclusive services to provide a photographer or intern accommodates the whole trip to make a video clip afterward without additional charges which I have never seen this sort of service before in other countries. Although the tour is a bit pricy, but I will definitely say worthwhile to participate in their private tour."

"I just returned yesterday from our first visit to Taiwan. A big thank you from us, to the My Taiwan Tour folks! We booked the ultimate Taiwan day tour and got the royal treatment. Traveling around the city, seeing fabulous sights all day long in comfort and having great fun with the driver and our delightful, personable, and very knowledgeable tour guide (Jane). She was lovely and so very patient and informative! My husband and I were totally delighted with the tour and plan to book some other tours with this company again when we return to Taiwan, some day! We highly recommend these folks for a stress free, carefree, happy touring."

"I was travelling in Taiwan by myself. I cannot speak any Mandarin and I'm not familiar with Taiwan at all. I signed up for the Jiufen tour and was highly satisfied by the service, value and the place of interest that this tour has given me. The tour is very personal, and my guide that day was Michael together with Anke. I felt like I was being taken around by some friends, as they guided me around Jiufen and took me to see Yin Yang Ocean, waterfall, gold panning and also culinary. Timing was precise and their English was great. I definitely recommend this tour!"

"We were in Taiwan for a couple of days. We chose the ultimate Taipei day tour and visited 10 different places in Taiwan. The experience was amazing. We felt that we get to see the whole Taipei in just one day. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and excited to show us around. The driver was nice and always on time. I enjoyed every place we visit from the market, temple, museum, and more. Its definitely worth it and highly recommended. We visited Taipei in the month of October. The weather is warm but slightly windy. Perhaps bring an extra light sweater/cardigan or thin scarf just in case if it gets too windy."

"If you want a personalized tour of Taiwan, without all the shopping traps or the usual "tourist sites", My Taiwan Tour is it. Last week, we travelled to Taroko Gorge and Hualien from Taipei with My Taiwan Tour and along the way we enjoyed the scenic sea views this coastal drive provided. We had great discussions throughout our tour with Iris (our guide) and her colleague Peipei, which provided us insights on the way locals live, their beliefs and values. They were very flexible in planning their routes to accommodate our request to not visit any handicraft shops nor aboriginal villages, but just see what the beautiful island offers and unusual stopovers that no other tour agency provides. They adjusted the itinerary (without any fuss) if there were any last minute changes and happily search for alternatives for us. I know from this site that a lot of people are looking for English speaking guides cum drivers that could provide a customized itinerary of places of interest, but usually end up with nice Mandarin speaking taxi drivers. Well, My Taiwan Tour is your alternative if you want English speaking guide and customized tours."

"We arrived in Taipei and immediately took a bullet train ride to Kaoshiong. From there the tourist guide tour us around the area. Then proceed to Ylan and then to Sun Moon Lake. It was foggy then and cold so we didn't get to see the entire lake and we can't even take a boat ride. What a pity. Taipei Street is good. I can still smell the squid being roasted on the street. Yummy!"
