"I have been several times in this hotel. On Croatia it is the best accommodation in my opinion. The hotel is really elegant and the service is high class. Last time I recognize that they have built a new sea beach. It is really nice and comfortable."

"Our stay at the Monte Mulini was the highlight of our European vacation. It was perfectly relaxing and the attention to detail was first class. The location near Rovinj could not be better. We loved riding bikes in the nature preserve along the coast and exploring the town. The cleanliness and civic pride we observed really added to the experience. It was just ideal."

"Excellent hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed in an executive room which was wonderful. Facilities are top class and it's virtually part of a natural park which is great for long walks and bike rides. They have their own beach front and its a short walk into the old town for evening drinks and food. High recommend this hotel and the region."

"The most relaxing week ever. The hotel staff was very attentive and rooms / bathrooms were superb - spotless with replenished Molton brown daily! Anything and everything for breakfast to suit early and late risers. We used the hotel bikes and cycled round the marked cycling routes which were very quiet and for the most part traffic free. The sunbathing area by the sea was a taste of paradise with cocktails available from the hotel beach bar. Difficult to fault anything - we hope to return ! Oh, and Rovinj old town was pretty special as well!"

"We spent a week at the Monte Mulini Hotel in September, 2015. As you can tell from the other reviews, this is a special hotel. Great staff complement luxurious rooms. You can sit on your balcony and look over the nearby national park and bay. It is a 10-15 minute stroll into the town. Well worth going to the free olive oil tasting, with a different wine for each oil. The executive chef was there on the evening we did the tasting, he took us to the chefs table. If you want luxury, go to this hotel."

"My wife and I stayed 2 nights at Monte Mulini and we loved our stay there. The room was large, modern, and it had a balcony. The hotel premises are gorgeous. The buffet breakfast is excellent. The hotel is just 10 minutes walking distance from old town and there is free parking. Staff is well trained and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel."

"I stayed at the Monte Mullini in July 2015, and have to say this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in for a long time. The staff had the right balance of friendly and professional. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The location on a wonderful (but pebbly not sandy) beach, a 15-minute walk into Central Rovinj was perfect. There were lovely walks in a wooded area to other beaches close by. The choice of food for breakfast was amazing with a choice of cheeses, meats, fruit bread, cakes, croissants, yoghurts and fruit juices on the buffet and you could order a wide range of cooked food. For lunch the pool bar had a wide choice of snacks. In the evening there were two restaurants both with fabulous food that I personally can't fault as every meal was absolutely delicious but the food in these were very rich so some people may not want that food all week (it was the sort of restaurant food I usually save only for special occasions). In addition Rovinj is the perfect place to explore the rest of the wonderful Istrian countryside. I am already thinking about returning to the Monte Mullini in the next few years."

"A real 5-star hotel in which every single member of staff makes sure you feel special. We had an amazing dinner in the Wine Vault, which left us speechless and you cannot imagine anything else for breakfast, but the food and drinks they provide, because they have it all! The room was superb, with spacious bathroom and a breathtaking view, always clean and beautifully taken care of. A strong recommendation for people who need a good rest and want to enjoy the vacation - we even prolonged our stay!"
